My name is Lanette Estill-Cooper & I live in central California. Most of my contributions have been in Howard County, Missouri & San Luis Obispo County, California. Death & birth certificates often have misspellings and incorrect information. If you are related to these interees & have any corrections I will gladly change them. Please don't get mad at me like the crazy lady from Hawaii.
If you have information that you would like added I'll be happy to do that also. I am more than happy to make transfers for friends & family. You are welcome to use any of the pictures that I have posted on findagrave.
Half of my entries are in the Santa Margarita Cemetery in Santa Margarita, California. I was helping the local historical society with this cemetery but I am not related to anyone in it. There are about 100 names I haven't listed yet. There are about 100 unmarked graves as well, for which I have some names. If you don't see your relative on findagrave, e-mail me & I will look on the roster I have. If you have any info on these people or any interesting stories about them, the Santa Margarita Historical Society would love to hear from you. They have their own website.
I am always interested in exchanging information with distant cousins. All my people come from Howard County, Missouri or Chaffee County, Colorado. Some of the surnames in my family are Estill, Fisher, Bertschy, O'Malley, Crowley, Lynch, Cowan and Loughney.

|Andy Reed||RE: John Ballew Warford|
The maiden name of the grandmother is helpful. I was thinking we were related in some way, though. You're not descended from the Warford's?
|Mary Jones||Hattie Amelia Sumner Gonzales|
Thank you so much for this photo of my husband's family member. It's so nice to have these to help us connect to family we never knew - appreciate you.
|Andy Reed||Ballew name|
You may remember me. We had been in contact in the past. I'm thinking probably to do with John and Mary (Baxter) Warford. I see you have Find A Grave records for Ballews. Concerning John Ballew Warford (father of Thomas Ballew Warford and my ancestor Margaret Ann Warford who married Baylor Spotts), do you know where they got that middle name of Ballew. Two of John's grandmothers I only have first names for (Mary and Eliza), could their maiden names possibly be Ballew? I can't remember, are you descended from Baylor Spotts also?

thanks for the transfer!
|J Farris||Faris Spelling|
Thank you so much for your cooperation. For some reason during the same sequence of edits another contributor, Long Black Veil, who created the memorial for Joseph Adison Faris was very rude to me.
In the biography section of Joseph's memorial she listed his father as "Michael Farris (notice 2 r's)". She also misspelled some of his siblings names, Gabrilla being one of them. I sent the parental links and politely asked her to correct the spellings. She sent me a message and told me to please do a some research on "this family" before sending edits to correct something that was not a mistake. I then explained that I had been researching my family tree for over ten years and that this branch of my family spell our name Faris. I explained that census takers and transcribers at that time in history often spelled names incorrectly as they usually went door to door and were not relatives. She told me I should just be glad that she photographed his marker. She said that others had asked her to correct it in the past and that she could not go back in time and change the spelling because God didn't give her the power. Whatever that means. After all of that she finally linked Joseph to his parents, Lucy and Michael Jr. per my request, and saw for herself that the spelling on all of their markers was Faris. She then changed the wording of Joseph's bio and added another incorrect spelling, Farres.
After exchanging these messages with her I realized that she was terrible at spelling and punctuation altogether. Thank goodness I have only had to deal with a few of these crackpots since being involved with findagrave.com.
I sent a lot of edits and links out that day. Everyone else was cooperative, polite, and respectful just as you were. I thank you very much for your time, for completing the edits, and for your work on findagrave.com.
I have added you to my findagrave friends.

|Vickie Smejkal||Owen E O'Malley #30624892|
I see you are a relative of Owen. May I get information on him that you would not mind sharing with others?
I ask because I have been documenting all of the folks who are buried in Block 12 at Riverside Cemetery for over 6 years and hope to learn much about them.
My goal is to bring a little life to these folks, to tell their story. Would you mind sharing? May I also post the picture you have of him into my documents and then later with the information you provide?
It is so nice to see what you have already posted on Owen, his family and all. Super.
Feel free to visit my web-site and the story of the month portion too. You'll see a lot here.
Also, I have a William O'Malley interred: 23 Apr 1934 and two Baby O'Malleys interred: 5 Jul 1930 & 4 Jun 1931....any relation?
Thank you in advance.
P.S. Owen is in Block 12, Lot 35, Section 278. There is no headstone (most of the folks in this Block do not have stones).

A friend told me about this change a couple days after this was deployed. I have sent an edit/s to you so I thought maybe you didn't know about it. You might want to pass it on to your friends. thanks!!! ~Peggy
New "Automated" system for "Suggest a Correction/Submit an Edit"
New System for Memorial Edits deployed by FindAGrave on 12/5/2013
Go to your Contributor/Profile page.
Look in the upper right corner. You should now see a tab called "Edits" - check there to see if any have been submitted to you. Then just review and accept.
Way easier for doing updates to names/dates/places/plot numbers/links. If you don't approve within 21 days it will automatically accept it.
You still will get e-mails to add info to bio section.
|Steven Laird||Sara Mae Wasson|
Any info that you have you can email to me and I will add it to her memorial. This is my relative and I don't care to transfer it to a non-relative.
|Alvin Poole||Gladys Jarred Epperly|
Thank you for the headstone photo for Gladys. Is it alright if I use it on my ancestry.com and give you credit. Thanks Alvin 47244491
