Thanks for letting me know there was another memorial with photos. I was doing the 1st Infantry at night so guess I was too tired to notice. Appreciate your follow-up.

uss tang
Hi Shane, do you know this guy Dave Jones (#46579167.
He has worked on the Tang and there are some memorials that he has changed cemetery from Manilla to buried at sea. I'll send them to you when I see them. Find A Grave Memorial# 25227666.
I suggested that he create a USS Tang cemetery in the system since according to him the Tang is considered an official cemetery I dont know how you feel about that. Take care.

RE: Inverness Cemetery
Hi ShaneO,
As you know by now, I did in fact locate the grave you requested and posted it. Because of the nature of the request, several people got involved with this and there were several foot searches by several different persons. I've updated the Inverness City's records and also have an additional veteran's grave site photo that lies adjacent to Mr. Cato. If you would like to create a memorial for him, please let me know. Sorry to have taken so long to track down this marker, sometimes these things take time and effort. From all those involved, we hope this helps your research/catalog/family records and on behalf of the people involved, we thank young Mr. Cato for his sacrifice... we hope he is at least resting in peace in paradise.

SSgt Clarence Roberson
Hi Shane, I must say that I am so very impressed with the fantastic effort you are putting in! I try to do what little I can to clean up around a veteran's grave and their marker, take and post as many photos here as I can. I came across SSgt Roberson's marker yesterday and was humbled to be in the presence of a gentleman that went in on the first wave of D-Day and gave all he had. I posted the picture I took to your memorial. Thank you so very much for what you are doing!

Best regards,
