If I have created a memorial for a family member of yours, don't hesitate to request a transfer.

Links, Corrections, Transfers and/or additional information
After logging in to Find a Grave please use the edit tab in the upper right hand corner to advise me of any links you would like made, corrections or additional information you would like added to a memorial that I manage.

Find a Grave does not require that I search the entire Find a Grave system globally, only the individual cemeteries in which I am adding to. Please do not move your Burial Unknown into the correct cemetery based on the information you found from my memorial & then demand that I delete my duplicate. For further information on this, please refer to how Find a Grave handles duplicate memorials.

"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

- Hunter S. Thompson

RE: William J Hunt
You're welcome. That bothered me too. He is somewhat elusive as I could not find him in some census years at all. I hope you are able to find him, he may not have even died in California though. Chris

I mistakenly put her husband's parents as her parents. Can you delete her parents? I tried.

RE: William J Hunt
Hi Linda: I did a little searching on this yesterday and the problem I have is that I cannot come up with a death certificate that matches the date to you have. I looked at a couple of trees that were posted for him, but none of the trees at an actual source for his deathdate. I've found that unless there is a source, you can't trust what others put down. There is a William J Hunt that dies in Alameda County on Dec 29, 1939 and another that dies in Kern County on Jan 12 1963 but he is born in 1885. Those are the only two William J. Hunts I find. Perhaps he died just as William Hunt but I haven't had time to look into that. If you can actually find the correct death date, then purchasing the death certificate should give you the cemetery in which he was buried. Chris

RE: William J Hunt
Sorry you have to go through this. If you are just getting a receptionist, perhaps a counselor would be more helpful. Good luck on finding your William Hunt's resting place. Chris
