I am bound to them though I cannot look into their eyes or hear their voices.
I honor their history. I cherish their lives. I will tell their story.
I will remember them for I am the result of the very love, struggle, sacrifice
and journey of thousands.

Greetings! I am a family history enthusiast as well as a librarian and genealogist. I love helping people find their roots and I enjoy wandering through the local cemeteries to photograph and decipher the stones. I want to memorialize as many headstones as I possibly can, especially the sandstone ones that are eroding quickly - to save them for the generations to come.

The photos I post are for open for anyone to use and I welcome anyone to use them for their family histories.

I am always willing to transfer memorials to ANY level of family member -- memorials belong with family. Don't hesitate to ask, but please email me. I don't always see the transfer requests if they are in the Find A Grave messaging.

Please use the Suggest Edits for corrections unless detailed documentation is needed. And please be kind, I'm only human.

"It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit." . . . Harry S Truman

I have copies of the cemetery indexes for Stearns, Benton and Sherburne Counties that I am updating as I go. These indexes are great tools for matching against cemetery records to verify names, death dates, etc. Feel free to email me with any questions about people buried in these counties.

My immediate family names include: Warneke, Notch, Hoeschen, Korte, Forcier, Althaus, Hohle, Reimer and Degree (Degré).
My children's grandparents are Osmeks, Rantas, and Baumgartens.
