I love family history, so of course I ended up here trying to find and connect family members, and also to help others in any way that I can. I am a disabled non-driver, so my ability to contribute is limited but heartfelt. Any memorial in my management that is a closer relative to someone other than myself will be happily transferred if requested. I am also happy to share all photos and other information I have added to these memorials.|
Your Tombstone stands among the rest
neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
on polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care.
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I'd exist.
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
in flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
one hundred years ago,
spreads out among the ones you left
who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved.
I wonder if you knew,
that someday I would find this spot,
and come to visit you.

Thanks for your help in getting the memorials in this cemetery updated.
Before I started going through the memorials, there was a merge of two listed cemeteries which were actually the same. That may be why the dupe occurred.

Thanks for checking!

I am working on an ancestry project and came across this name as a fellow Army buddy of my dad. Would he have resided in Moundsville, WV at one time? If not, then this is not one in the same. If so, please send me an email directly to firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll share with you what I have.

Lisa: I need your Find A Grave # to transfer Nash.
Lisa: I have been away from my genealogy for some time, and I must have deleted William Stover Nash as you requested. I still have Kathryn L. Nash, would you like me to transfer her to you?

Hi Lisa, My name is Doug Stiverson and I have several ancestors buried in the Zollinger & Logan Cemetery in Cooper County, Missouri. My wife and I spend about 4 hours last summer attempting to identify as many burials as possible with our limited resources. We uncovered several stones and took photos and uploaded everything we found onto Find a Grave. We did not unearth "Unknown Logan" on this trip (we live in Colorado) but will likely be able to do more work next summer. I've shown your photo request as "no stone found" for now. Take care, Doug
