I love family history, so of course I ended up here trying to find, memorialize, and connect my own family members, and also to help others in any way that I can. I am a disabled non-driver, so my ability to contribute is limited but heartfelt. Any memorial in my management that is a closer relative to someone other than myself will be happily transferred if requested. I am also happy to share all photos and other information I have added to these memorials.|
Your Tombstone stands among the rest
neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
on polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care.
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I'd exist.
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
in flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
one hundred years ago,
spreads out among the ones you left
who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved.
I wonder if you knew,
that someday I would find this spot,
and come to visit you.

Thanks so much for allowing me to copy the information off of your memorial and then deleting, I appreciate it!
Honestly I was going to just go delete mine but once I saw that I had photos in there, it was easier to copy your info into her bio then to download and then re-upload to your memorial.
That being said, if you're related to this memorial I'll be happy to transfer.

You're quite welcome.
If there are other memorials in this cemetery in which you have an interest, watch for more photos over the next few days.

Seems we get a lot of strange connections that may be relatives. Then some weird one comes up and they have much of what you have.

Lisa, I see that you manage my great grandmothers grave, Eda Ward Patrick 10785037. Are we related? My grandfather is her son Florian
I do not know if W B Hunt 1831-1900 is buried there but that headstone is there, I took the picture 6-21-2006. I should have taken a picture of the sign that said Jones Hunt Cem. I do not know where Apperson Cem is but I plan on going over there this week. I might be able to find it. the overall picture I took of the Jones Hunt Cem shows the Hunt stone in the far distant. was very few headstones there. it was in an open field with a small wire fence around it. I will save your email and try and get back with you in a week or so..John In Missouri

Lisa, thank you for letting me know of this, by Evangelical do you mean the Sunset Hills cemetery also know as city cemetery. I have been to the Sunset Hills one and also the Jones Chapel which is just a few miles west of Sunset Hills and Boonville where older Langlotz are buried. since neither of us know for sure I think I might move them to Sunset Hills since their death certificates only says West Boonville. I get over to Boonville often, next time I will visit both places and find them...thank you. JOhn In Missouri

I wanted to let you know that I found an obituary for Carl B. Johnson. He is not buried in Elm Ridge with Veda. I went to Elm Ridge and checked the listings--he is not listed as being there--and took a picture of Veda's stone (she is in the mausoleum). Hope this helps--
