|Graveyard Gang||RE: Jacob Sneary|
I just want to thank you and let you know how warmed the hearts of my cousin and me. My cousin has lost her eyesight, but I called her and told her I had seen the photo of the gravesite on findagrave and requested it be transferred. We thank you from the bottoms of our hearts. In our family book this is what it says about Jacob Franklin Sneary's funeral and burial: "....funeral services, which were conducted by Rev. Sanderson at 2:30 pm Sunday afternoon at the old college building in this city, after which the mortal remains of Jacob F. Sneary were laid in the tomb at Rose Hill cemetery, far away by many weary miles from the home of his childhood, and the graves of father and mother..." so, thank you now I will connect him to his father, mother, wife and other family members.
Blessings, jwp, Graveyard Gang

Thanks so much for taking the pictures of the headstones for the Kaufmans! I appreciate the work, walking and then computer skills involved in doing all that!
I appreciate you! Deb

The Library list the following cemeteries in Sparta Township: Sparta, Indian Village, Valley, Godfrey and Eagle Lake. Go to nobleco.lib.in.us and click on genealogy, then C.J. Whan and then Whan Collection. This site has some great information on it and if you let me know some of the names you are looking for I will check another set of books they have at the library that has some great info in them. Good luck. Barb

You are welcome for my attempt at finding your request. She is at the cemetery Row 8, first one but she doesn't have a tombstone at least not now - the cemetery is in very bad shape with a lot of broken stones clumped around a tree. I just recently received the "No marker found" emblem from another requester who asked me to add it to their request. I have used it a few times since then and you are more then welcome to use it too. see next message

Thank you so much for taking the picture of the Knepper's grave stone in Bremen Municipal Cemetery. I have been working on a different project and did not get to this right away, but I really do appreciate your effort and time.

Let me know when you will be coming. The weekend is easier for me to go, but I can make arrangements if needed. The cemetery is actually near a boy scout camp in Kiser Lake State Park. You can not pull up to it, but have to park at the ranger station & walk a little bit down the trail & up a hill. The cemetery is literally in the woods & tombstones among the trees. I have been meaning to return there to retake a couple photos as that was my very first time taking cemetery photos. Let me know. Feel free to e-mail me directly. email@example.com Abigail Deeter

Welcome - the quality of the picture is probably poor due to the condition of the stone.
Thank you for the photos! Much appreciated.
