Bio and Links
Bio Photo My wife Terri and I no longer volunteer for Findagrave in Washington County Oklahoma. We will continue working on our family and friends. If we have entered a memorial of one of your loved ones, family or friend, let us know and we will always consider transferring to your care. Many of the volunteers in our area have lost interest in the work due to one individual. It is a shame. All of these volunteers have done a good job. None are perfect but have given of their time and effort to provide information for the many burials in this area. We are loyal supporters of Findagrave but we are all volunteers and the verbal, mental and email abuse we have all taken makes it not worth the effort.

Just wondering if you know what is inscribed on her stone (btw, she is the daughter of Louisa Berry).

Hi - just wondering where the name Meadows comes from - I believe this is the mother of my step-grandfather's mother (complicated), whose first marriage was to Leroy Blevins. Do you know if there was another marriage to a Meadows? Thanks, Pam

RE: P D Owen tombstone identified
Thanks, Richard. I'm very happy that you enjoyed the book. I wrote it in 1991 or so, and have been pleased that it has helped families learn more about their ancestors, and in some instances helped unite people with family that they didn't know they had.

Please let me know anything you can learn about Elmer Owen, and any photos that his descendants may have of Pearl. No one from Pearl's family had any pictures of her, and those in the newspapers were not worthy of reproduction in the book.
Take care, and thanks again!

Transfer of Memorials
If you are no longer interested in dealing with the memorials that you have set up and are still interested in transferring to family, the following are great grandparents and uncles of my husband that I would appreciate you transferring to me.

Odle, Henryetta " Etta" Welch 32187678
Odle, Jack 32186475
Odle, Sgt. Raymond 30671605
Odle, Sam 32186501
Odle, William Benjamin 32186449

I really appreciate the care you have given in creating these memorials and all the others you have done.

Thanks for your reply, Richard. Yes, I believe Pearl's maiden name was Decker, and she was married to Elmer Owen (spelled Owens in the newspaper accounts). Her father's name was Lawson, and one of her brothers was Noah.

I look forward to your impressions after reading the book.

Take care,

Danny
