Feel free to use any of the pictures I've added. I visit cemeteries when I can for the love of it, not the recognition on findagrave by adding pictures and claiming 'copyright'. What upsets me are the 'don't copy' people with poor quality pictures. If you're so proud of them make sure they're perfect. Yes, I've spent, time, gas and had many aches and pains to take pictures but I don't believe that gives me the right to deny the use of my pictures (especially for family trees) since a majority of the time I'm not related. I'll transfer any memorial I've created except the ones related to me personally. I'm disturbed by the FAG guidelines of transfer and that some members are so hardcore about them. I have a great-aunt and an uncle that had no children and a member will not transfer them to me even though they manage over 75,000 memorials and are not related. Guess numbers mean more to some people. Use a little common sense people.|
Please do not contact me unless you have a return address. I've received a few requests to delete duplicate memorials from members with no contact information and the memorials were not added by me. I have no problem with this if the duplicates are mine.
I wish FAG members would stop adding memorials for someone without naming a cemetery, this is not a site for adding your family tree and often incorrect information is passed on.
My daughter and I are researching African American WWI Veterans in 10 East Texas counties. I would love to hear from any family members of these forgotten heroes. The counties are Anderson, Harrison, Houston, Jasper, Nacogdoches, Orange,Rusk, San Jacinto, Trinity, and Walker.

Thanks for sending the additional information for his bio. After being a bit under the weather, I'm trying to get caught up on emails. Sorry it has taken this long. . .

Whoa there. Very good catch. I took a look at the problem I created on Shults and I find that I used a death certificate for a different Shults. Whew, that was dumb. I guess it was a bad day at Black Rock. I shall correct the problem. Thank you. LeRoy.

Hi Cathy, yes, that would be wonderful! I'm excited to have found this site so I can update the information. Thank you for what you've done. I think this is just fascinating and it has inspired me to learn more about geneology.
|Amanda Gilbert||Thank you!|
Thank you for your photo and the information you researched for Olga Zentner Daniel. My mother, Arlene Daniel, is her great-granddaughter and always wanted to research our family tree. Sadly, I lost my mom July 2013 and everything she knew about our family history is also gone. Then I found this site and links to my ancestors. Thank you!
Yes indeed Cathy!! Thank you for catching that...it has been corrected! ;)

Cathy are you a relative of Martha's or Lemuel?
Thank you for the added info, I have added it. If
I'm not mistaken, I have a lovely picture of
Martha? I'm not at home at this time and the computer I'm using doesn't have my genealogy files on it. If you'd like, I'll send it to you when we return home. Thanks again.

|Cam Thompson||Martha Thompson|
In regards to Martha Thompson, I looked into it and apparently her middle name is in fact Ann. My aunt got me started in tracing the Thompson name and we were working on a tree together at geni.com. She created the profile with "Elizabeth" as a middle name and I copied that info to findagrave. I looked in the Dent County Cemetery book and it shows it to be Ann. Thanks for catching that!
