Bio Photo CHANGES: Suggest a correction, please! If I duped it, I'll delete it. If you have more info, I'll add it. If I typed something wrong, I'll fix it. I DO NOT KNOWINGLY CREATE DUPES, but I'm human and make mistakes. Although this site asks you not to send too many changes per week, please feel free to send as many as you find. I'm in it for accurate information.

PET PEEVE: Others who input info & don't double check it making it impossible for me to match the photos I've taken. Therefore I create a correct memorial with photo & they come back & say mine's a "dupe" even though theirs was jacked up info :( UGH!!!!! If you DON'T TRY to put something in correctly, don't put ANYTHING in at all or at least have the decency to remove your botched memorial & don't ask the correct one to be removed & the photo be transferred to their corrected memorial. Accuracy is important here - NOT the amount of memorials you can input from bad information & typing skills.

TRANSFERS: If it's your relative or friend (and not my direct line :-), I'll transfer it! Just use the edit request on the memorial and include your Find A Grave member number with your request.

PHOTOS: Permission is granted for others to use photos that I have posted on for personal, non-commercial purposes. If you have a better photo than mine, let me know & I'll delete mine. Things happen & the photo I took might have looked fine at the cemetery & not so fine when I got home :) IF my reflection is in a photo, please let me know so I get it corrected. Contributions are in honor of those who walked before us. No disrespect is intended whatsoever by my submissions to this website.

I hope everyone finds the ancestors & answers they're looking for & it makes my day to think I've helped in some way!!

RE: Donis Cemetery = Dorris Cemetery
I wasn't sure what the Find A Grave administrators were going to do, or what your reaction would be; so I printed out the information and then I created the memorials for my relatives.

Sorry for all the extra work.

Cemeteries Merge
I sent the admins a note on both of the cemeteries, I asking them to merge them.

I am not sure how it will all work, but there may have to be some clean up after they are merged.

The Vaughn/Fraser-Blackwell cemetery are about 100% duplicated.

The Dorris/Donis cemetery is only about 25% duplication, and your is close to 100% photographed.

RE: Fraser-Blackwell Cemetery = Vaughn Cemetery
I went to the grid for the cemetery and look for 30 minutes in the woods for it. And never found it. This grid is near the Hopkins / Webster County line.

I email the creator and they said that it was between Diamond and Clay.

I had the death certificate for on of my relatives and it listed the Cemetery as being near Clay, KY.

I finally found it.

Fraser-Blackwell Cemetery = Vaughn Cemetery
These two cemeteries are the same

Fraser-Blackwell Cemetery
View all interments (154)
99% photographed. [?]

Vaughn Cemetery

View all interments (168)
93% photographed. [?]

This is close to a 100% duplicated

The grid is wrong on the location for the Vaughn Cemetery, I ask the admin to change it, they never did.

The note from the creator of the cemetery page:

"This is the real name of the cemetery, I bought a Webster County Cemeteries Book form Dixon, they name the Cemetery Vaughn Blackwell Cemetery. I believe it has changed hands over the years."

Donis Cemetery = Dorris Cemetery
The Cemetery that you have listed as Donis Cemetery is actually the Dorris Cemetery.

View all interments (81)
98% photographed. [?]

View all interments (45)
9% photographed. [?]

25 of the 81 are duplicates of those in the Dorris Cemetery.

If you need help please let me know.

RE: Alexander Franklin Todd

You wrote.

"Alexander Franklin Todd Memorial# 120470605
I don't know what you want me to do with this listing. The family info was sent to me from someone else. Added by Lorna on Nov 26, 2016 8:34 PM"

The information that was sent to you by someone is incorrect. I would like you to correct Alexander's parents.

I have the following pending changes.

Alexander Todd
Sent by: Chris Coleman
Nov 26, 2016 10:25 AM

Wrong parents:
Father:Benjamin Lankford Todd (1785 - 1848)
Mother:Elizabeth Hepsey Green Todd (1792 - 1852)

Correct parents:
Father: James Green Todd (1825 - 1900)
Mother: Mary L. Nesbit Todd (1832 - 1917)

As stated before if Elizabeth Hepsey Green Todd is Alexander's mother she would have been 63 years old when gave birth to him; highly unlikely.

Alexander Franklin Todd is also listed in the Census with James Green Todd and Mary L. Nesbit Todd.
