Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been an avid family researcher since the early 80's, tracing primarily the lines Morris, Stanbery, Potts, Kilpatrick, Pothast, Oltman, Wendt, Soderholm, Bjorklund, Peterson and Bostrom, as well as my wife's Geiser, Backland, Miller, Halvorson, Gelle, Holthusen, Burfiend and Hauschildt lines. How much easier it now is with tools like Find A Grave then when we started back in the days with census records on microfilm ordered from far away!! If you make a connection with any of the people I have added to this website, please contact me as I love meeting new cousins!!

As you can tell from my profile picture, I am proud of my family's service to this country, going back as far as the Revolutionary War. I am a direct descendant of Recompence Stanbery and his son Samuel, both of whom are patriots of the American Revolution recognized by both the DAR and SAR. I am also a U.S. Army veteran myself, with service in Viet Nam and on the Korean DMZ.

And last but certainly not least, thanks to my cousin Connie and her husband Guy for a WHOLE lot of the photos you see in my memorials. And also to my classmate Ed Hass for his highly excellent renditions of our high school pictures in the Wildcat virtual cemetery.

Pharis Jean Eden Putnam
Will you link Pharis Jean Eden Putnam to her mother, Betty Jean Humble Eden (52753849). Betty Jean's memorial site has the obituary listing Pharis as her daughter.
Thank you!

Just an FYI, I added headstone photos on their memorials #'s 32738338 & 32738611. Noticed you had the same last name so thought you might want to know. Buried in Loveland Burial Park, Loveland, CO

Sorry Fred! Much going on. Hope you are well. Have my mother with dementia living with me once again. Near her final days we believe. But, the family stamina may help her to live to 90 in Jan next year. Thank you for contacting me and accept my apologies for not responding sooner.

My grandmother was a Kilpatrick. I never met her. She died when mom was 9 years old. With much family opposition she married a commoner, a mill worker and railway builder. Ralph Lavern Warthen. (My grandfather and best friend always) When she died in 1933 her remains were to be buried in the Kilpatrick family's mausoleum in Nebraska. However my grandfather did not want her taken back east so did not notify the family. She is buried in Cowlitz Cemetery in the State of Washington where he could visit the grave. He loved her so much he raised 5 kids alone and never remarried until his death in 1965. Thank you for your research. Linda Cozart (Westwood)
