Hi Jeff, I have found a few more people searching the Ratcliff line, hope to have more info soon. See Cornelia Ella Ratcliff and Franklin Adolphus Ratcliff, I put up a photo from my father's collection. I hope you are doing well!

RE: Hancock Cemetery Update
Thank you for letting me know. The last few times I was home, I have driven out that way looking for it. Could you let me know where it is exactly? Is it possible to visit it?

RE: Ivy Collins Shirah
I will try to get verification of that from the city clerk. The genealogical society has most of the records but they could not find her. The names can be confusing so I will try lots of combos. What name were they using on the death certificate?

RE: Ivy Collins Shirah
Are you sure that Ivy is in Woodlawn Cemetery in West Palm Beach. They do not seem to have any record for Ivy.

I forgot that my memorial did not have a cemetery. I added her mother and father. The siblings should show up when you approve the mother and father. I think this will combine the two. I will delete mine after I look at what gets added. Thanks for your help.

RE: Hattie McDowell
Jeff, sorry it took so long for me to find this message. Hattie was raised mostly by an uncle in Clay Co. GA. She married Y. T. Knight and had several children. He died in 1906. They lived very near my Grandfather John H. McCormick. His wife died in child birth in 1909 and in 1911 he and Hattie were married. Hattie was born in 1870. She died in 1949, he in 1923. Her father was John McDowell, mother Susan Mann. I have found a little on Susan but very little on who John was or his family. My father was 12 yrs. at the time his father and Hattie married and he loved her like a real mother. I hope this will give you a little info on Hattie even though I don't know much about her McDowell family.
