Happy Upcoming Holidays Everyone As 2014 Comes To An End!!!|
I would like to express my sincere thanks to ALL FAG members who have posted flowers and tokens on my family members, friends and loved ones' memorials; who have sent additional memorial information, corrections, links and photos for memorials I have created/maintain; as well as members who have added information and links that I have sent them via edit requests. Your time and efforts have truly been appreciated. There are so many helpful, sharing and thoughtful FAG members on this site.
A huge thank you to the New Cumberland, WV Cemetery Board, employees and volunteers for their continual help and support; the helpful employees at Saint Paul Cemetery in Weirton, WV, where many maternal and paternal family members lay to rest; to Theodore "Ted" R. Turley, II (1930-2008), Janet Ryan Waite and Opal Finney's prior research and documention of Hancock County, WV interments; and George B. Hines, III from the New Cumberland, WV City Museum who has provided a wealth of documentation and vintage photographs for FAG memorials.
A very special thanks to my cousins and family members who have worked together finding and creating FAG memorials for our loved ones. You know who you are and I am so honored and proud to be related to you.
As for the few FAG members who choose to be RUDE, non responsive to edit requests and continue to quote THEIR interpretation of the FAG "Guidelines" and the purpose of "Memorials", I hope the New Year will bring them some inner peace...

Thank you for letting me know Aunt Laura's burial location.
|Joyce McGee-Varney||Albert and Mary Margaret Lassan|
Hello again, Peggy!
Thank you for creating the "Find A Grave" memorials for Albert Arpad Lassan (Memorial # 127031270) and Mary Margaret Varney Lassan (Memorial # 127033098) and taking the time to add the tombstone photos.
My husband had taken a photo of their tombstone several months ago during a visit to Weirton, and I was going to create memorials for them, but you beat me to it. :) Would you be kind enough to transfer their memorials to me?
Mary Margaret is the biological sister of John Carl Varney, my husband's father. I've already created a memorial for John as well as memorials for his other family members.
Happy Holidays to you and yours!
|Diana Warchak||Thank you for correction made|
Just a note to Thank you for the correction made on my fathers records and also THANK YOU for all the work that you do in making these records available.
The family of Joseph Montelione.
|Anonymous||RE: Jennie (Anderson) Hackathorn #138114339|
I am 99% sure that the parents of Jennie Hackathorn are William John and Maria Louise Anderson living in Grand View Township, Washington, Ohio in the 1870 and 1880 Census. Jennie and Harmon were married in Washington County in 1883. William John and Maria Louise were both born in Ireland and they have a daughter Jane E born in 1860 in Pennsylvania. Their full middle names show up on some of their childrenís marriage and death records.
The Andersonís were living in Pittsburgh in the 1860 census, and Jane E is listed as age 0.
William John died on 7 February 1885 and Maria Louise on 30 July 1882, both in Grandview, Washington, Ohio. The Ohio Death Records donít mention a cemetery and there doesn't appear to be a Findagrave memorial for either of them.
Hope this helps.
|Joyce McGee-Varney||Emil S. Onori and Mildred L. Onori|
The memorials that you created on August 20, 2014 for Emil S. Onori and Mildred L. Onori (husband and wife) are duplicates of the memorials that I created on April 12, 2014 for Emilio S. "Emil" Onori (Memorial #127871087) and Mildred L. "Mickie" Szczepkowski Onori (Memorial #127871144). Mildred is my husband's aunt (his mother's biological sister).
Would you kindly post the photo of the grave marker for Emil and Mildred to the memorials that I created and delete the memorials that you created. Thanking you in advance.
Thanks, too, for being a contributor to "Find A Grave." Looks like you've done a lot of work so far! Happy Thanksgiving!

|Traci's Mom||Traci Fields|
Because of you and other wonderful findagrave friends, Traci now has 5,260 flowers/tokens, and her birthday is a little over a week away. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! We appreciate you all so much.
I'm in awe! To show you more of what Traci was like, I posted the following on her memorial page,
"Traci, my angel, I can see the big grin on your face for all the flowers you're receiving on your memorial page. You're telling me, "Mom, why are you so surprised there are so many good people in this world? You should have known that....." "You're right, sweetheart, I should have known".
Traci was a person of strong faith, and GOD took excellent care of her, and helped her through all her hardships! Her faith never waivered.
GOD, bless them all, and thank you for your wonderful gift of Traci.
We've received an outpouring of so much love for Traci. I will try to get to everyone's site and leave a flower/token for at least one of their loved ones. However, there are so many of you, it will take me a while.
Sharon (Traci's mom)
