I knew my grandpa had 2 half siblings, but wasn't sure why. I've got to make a call tomorrow. There is a chance I've actually found his tombstone.
Do you know anything about the death of Thomas Semore Sosebee? That would be Girlie's father. There is a story involving an ambush that killed him and other family members. An Uncle has told me he does remember seeing a vehicle in an field that was full of bullet holes.

Mary Pharr / Westbrook/Sosebee Hi Do you have any information on John T Westbrook m Mary Pharr in Cherokee County, Ga, 1855. According to age, she was 11 when she married Westbrook. I am her gg grandson's wife and I am blocked at John T. I know he came from Ireland and is the first generation here. All I have is John T. son, Henry Bascom and dau, Bellona Victoria.
