Oct. 2016: John passed away Oct. 2015 & he was the other half of me & our gravewalking team. He loved the hobby of cleaning the stones, clipping around them, whatever it took for me to get a good picture, then downloading the pics here. He loved hearing from folks who were grateful to find the pics. I have not been in a cemetery to take pictures again & I may never feel like doing so on my own. But I will keep those that we have entered up to date & process any Edits that I get. John would want that.|
PLEASE use the "Edit" button for making any kind of requests regarding our memorials, and NOT the message board, even when asking for a transfer. Much, much quicker from my end to answer that way.

They are brothers not spouses

She was his senior many years over. They were married. She's a little hard to find having had many surnames.

Thank you for adding the correction to Steven and Nancy. When I get a chance to go to Carlinville Illinois. I will get the exact date for Steven's death. I had no luck with Nancy's this past Friday with Nancy at Carrollton Illinois.
Their 2nd great grandson

But I just noticed that you and John took 189,068 pictures. Bravo ... great job! It's contributors like you that make find a grave a wonderful place. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication! I'm in Montana, and like I said, if I were closer, I would surely come and meet you in the cemetery and do John's "chores". God bless.

I just read your bio, and I am so, so sorry for your recent loss of your precious husband. It sounds as though the two of you made a great team. I wish that I were closer - I'd come over and do John's "chores" in the cemeteries and help. I pray that God comforts your heart during this time ... and lifts you up in His MIGHTY hands. God bless ... and many thanks again for getting the cenotaph sent for Mrs. Hobbs.

Thank you so much. I don't know how they do that, but I'm sure that they know. I think it is linked to the regular memorial ... but it shows one as a cenotaph. God bless ... and have a great Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Thank you so very much for taking pictures and making memorials in 2006. If not for you, both, no one would know what the memorials look like. I was at St Charles, just down the road and didn't even realize this place existed. It is a beautiful place, but sadly most of the monuments are no longer legible. Also some of the broken stones are just cast aside at the edges of the cemetery, by the woods.
Thank you, Thank you.
Diane--thanks for the speedy updates.
