DeYoung/ De Young
I only sent edits because I have had several sent to me about the space or no space thing in the last name. I try to read the bios or look & see how other ones with same name are put in system in the same cemetery.
Example in Iowa DeYoung are 42 total & De Young are 96 total. McBride are 952 total & Mc Bride are none total.
If you go to Find A Grave Memorial# 119833324 that you made & look at her parents headstone you will notice a space in the last name. You look at the siblings you see them both ways with & without spaces. If the parents memorial correct then all the children should be like the parents way.
Yes find a grave does accept it both ways & it makes a difference went you look them up.
I look at how the headstone reads & how the bio reads when making the call of space or no space.

RE: Eva Sams
That's how I get it. She was born a Lesher, she married a Sams and died as a Lown. Buried as a Sams.

Thanks for letting me know you couldn't find the stone for Mary Conaway-Beckley at Union Cemetery. Thanks for photographing the whole cemetery!

You are welcome! I wouldn’t have probably ever noticed it, but someone brought it to my attention this afternoon.

Okay, had hoped maybe there was a relative connection somehow - always good to learn more.
But, the obit for Elizabeth was a treasure but of course now I'm spending hours tracking down their kids.
The BF (Ben Franklin) one is confusing. I had him as a son of one of John's brothers although now thinking he's John & Elizabeth's since he died in Oklahoma and they lived there and I don't think the other family did.
Always something to search and would be much easier if everyone hadn't of named their kids the same as their siblings and their siblings kids!!!
Should be lawn mowing today too but can always find something I'd rather do although definitely would rather mow than shovel snow!
Thanks again for the obit and all the hours I'm wasting :)

Thanks for sending his death notice. I've added it to his memorial and made a separate one for his wife.

Thanks so much for providing the obituary for Elizabeth. Her husband, John, was my Gt-Granduncle and there was family information in the obit that I did not have.
Really appreciate it - thanks again.
By any chance are you related?
