My name is Laurel. I'm married and live in Central Texas. I just recently became involved in several groups on Facebook, Historic Texas Cemeteries and Cemetery Explorers. And also Find A Grave. I just enjoy visiting cemeteries, especially older cemeteries. I find a peace and tranquility there; I also find the history very interesting. I enjoy being able to find graves for other people, the joy that it brings to them. I personally am researching the Ioor/Joor family history after discovering three brothers buried at an old cemetery near my home. I am related to the Jones, Ritchey, Edge and Brymer families in Williamson County and Lee County. I also have my father's family at Pilot Grove Cemetery (Clark, Parker) and Hillcrest Cemetery (Allen) in Bell County. I have not added very many memorials, but I will consider transferring a Memorial to direct family. I hope that I can help you if you need a picture of a certain grave in my area. I'll do my best. Also, I typically add at least three photos to a memorial; if a member needs me to delete some of my photos, just message me and I will be happy to work with you.
I got the name and info from the Cemetery Records. He was listed with that name on 2 lists that I can remember.
I have two? wives listed for him: Martha Hattie Cook, and Fanny (Unknown).
Their daughter Annie Pearl Edge m. Ollie Hubbard Lawrence, son of George Washington Lawrence and Minerva Virginia Layne.
Minerva's parents: [Capt.] Henry Inlough Layne m. Lucinda Lawrence. I have other wives for him, but not done mush there. Lucinda is the dau. of Adam Lawrence "Ad." and Sarah Lucinda Miller. Sister to Minerva is Martha Ann "Mattie" Layne, my great-grandmother who m. Silas Alexander Abbott.
If you want the memorials for these you are welcome to have them.
James McGee #86005745 A while back you sent me some info on James McGee in the Harrisonburg Cemetery, Catahoula Parish, Louisiana. Are you a relative or do you know any family members of James. I have someone who is wanting to find family members of his parents. Thanks, Eva
Mary E. Robertson Eaton It must be a cenotaph. I should probably send it in to Find A Grave as such so they can merge as such, meanwhile I can add to mine a link to the other one. When merged I believe the children and spouses then merge, even though it shows both of hers. I am starting to see more of this happening.
Re: Sinda Booze Hello. I do have a Sinda Booze listed in my Ancestry tree. She was the second wife of Emory Booze (Uriah & Sarah Ann Hawken Booze's son) b. 8 Apr 1887 in Arkansas City, AR, d. 21 Jun 1951 in St. Louis, Pott. County, OK. He is buried there in St. Louis, OK but not sure which cemetery. Emory's first wife, Ruth Cleva Vinson died with their son in childbirth on 17 Nov 1918 while Emory was overseas in WWI. She and their son, Emory Jr. are buried in Cummins Cemetery in Maud, Pott. Co., OK. I have visited their grave as my grandmother, Myrtle Booze Thomas and one of her daughters, Ola May are buried there, too. So are Uriah and Sarah, for that matter. I have nothing on their marriage at this time but I do see Sinda listed on the 1940 Fed. Census as 'wife' of Emory Booze in Avoca, Pott. Co. OK. She is listed as 'Linda' though on the document it is clearly 'Sinda'. I show her as b. 21 Mar 1884 in AR and d. 23 Jun 1960 at the age of 76 years in OK and buried in Collins Cemetery, Pott. Co. OK. Unfortunately I do not have any other info. on Sinda. I do not know who her parents are. I hope this helps you out and if you wish to contact me, you can call me at 775 575-1968 (for a couple of months as we are moving to KS soon) or on FaceBook (Fonda Pusatero). I have a gmail account but don't check it often so you may try that, email@example.com. Fonda
