***Please note...I am still active! We have had health issues in the family and I am quite behind on my "work" with FAG! I am once again working on my corrections and additions. Please have patience, I will get everything taken care of ASAP! (dated 10/1/13)|
While helping my aunt with the genealogy of our family, I became interested in Find A Grave. I decided to take my research one step further, and research the cemeteries where our family members are buried. In the process of doing this, I found that I can help others who are trying to locate photos of where their loved ones are buried. This has already proved to be a wonderful way to help others as well as a great way to spend my Saturdays.
I think most of all, my intrests have grown to include childrens memorials and the very old cemeteries that have so much character.
If I have entered any of your family or friends and you would like me to add additional information to their Bio's, just send me a message via the "Edit" button on the memorial page. I will be glad to make any necessary changes or additions.

While doing some research on Galveston County, I discovered that Charles Foster is buried in Phair Cemetery with other family members. The headstone you have posted for Oscar is also Charles's. Could you please upload a copy to his memorial as well? I made one for him at #139993485.

Thank you so much for the transfer. It means the world to me.
There is a drop down box now for the title of Sister, so it should not be a part of the first name. Also religious order indicators like SJ or O.S.U. should not be part of the name . This also makes it unsearchable. These can be in the bio.

Hello. I found the Porters in McAllen No worries about edit. Thank you!
|Cyndi Berg Jearman||Please accept Porter edit in McAllen, TX|
Greetings. I am hoping to take some photos today in McAllen, TX and two are for Porters in Roselawn. I had previously obtained their plot location and send an edit request maybe a couple weeks ago. No big deal or rush, Except, I lost my handwritten notes of the plot locations and want to photograph today or soon. Could you please accept those two edits? Then I can find the stones, I hope. I hope to help someone else who requested the photos. Thank you so much for all your time on Find As Grave! It is appreciated by users like me! Cyndi
|Larry Hume||Vernon Walters|
I am currently doing research on Vernon Walters, memorial 20617553 who died in a Japanese POW Camp. Are you related? If so anything you could add would be great. If not related could his memorial be transferred to me as I will have a lot of information to add? I have a virtual POW/MIA cemetery for Shelby County Veterans. Thanks.
