Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have many pictures of NM cemeteries, as I have been collecting them for years - although they are not organized in any fashion. I find NM cemeteries most fascinating, because many are in remote areas and are all that remain of once thriving communities. I have lived in NM almost all my life, and currently reside in Las Vegas. I include my email in order to accommodate corrections and requests, so please feel free to make them.

thank you for helping me ! My gr grandfather was Charles Henry Sporleder #54006241. Look at his info. He owned the Sporleder Shoe & Boot Co. on 5th and Douglas in or around the Masonic Bldg. I have a great photoof this. Think he was on the school board plus many other things. He was also Grand Master for two years I believe. I know he is buried in plot H-12 You can use my email address to contact me. Judy

cemetery map
Wondering if you know where I can get a map of the Masonic Cemetery, Las Vegas, NM. I will be visiting here in a few months to see my relatives graves. I did find the burial location of each person on line. Is this cemetery opened all the time and who 'manages' it?
Thank you.......Judy Sporleder Davin

Minnie Bell (Hardy) Adams
I don't mean to be a pest about this but you can see that her father's middle name was, in fact, Brewer, simply by looking at the photo of his headstone here on Find A Grave. His full name was carved onto his headstone and shows his middle name was, in fact, Brewer and not Bell (that was his daughter's middle name). His Find A Grave memorial is # 103395898.

Minnie Bell (Hardy) Adams
Thank you for creating the memorial for Minnie Bell (Hardy) Adams. One minor thing I noticed tho was you have her father's middle name listed as "Bell" and his middle name - as I have seen it in several records - was Brewer - not Bell, i.e., Samuel Brewer Hardy rather than Samuel Bell Hardy.

RE: Ida Burris
You are certainly welcomed to add that to her memorial. I was just curious--she is not related to me. I was transcribing obits from some old papers and came across that.

Ida Burris
I found the following obit for Ida Burris in a Leavenworth, Kansas newpaper:

"Died, at 11:00 on Thursday night, Feb. 13th, Ida, eldest daughter of B. L. and Maggie Burris, aged 9 years and four months. Funeral Saturday, the 15th, at the residence of Judge Latta, Cherokee and Broadway. (Leavenworth Bulletin, Feb. 14, 1868)"

Do you know if her body was removed to New Mexico at that time, or was she reinterred at a later date?

Sarah E. Mills
You have a picture of the headstone of Robert E. Mills in Sec J Row 3. He is the son of Sarah E. Mills who supposedly is buried in Sec. J, Row 3 also. do you have a picture of her headstone?
Thanks, John Kizer
