|I discovered the genealogy hobby in 2009. I was born in Nebraska and still have family there. Names and places I'm researching include Hineline/Heinlein in PA, OH, and NE, Mattson in ND and Sweden, Oberst in OH and NE, Smith in NE, Flynn in PA and IA, Fisher and Bolton in southwest VA and eastern IA, Johnson in NE, Harsch in Germany and eastern NE.|
Most of the memorials I create are my family, but I am willing to transfer the ones not related to me--just ask!

|Marco Scavo||Regina Jensen Thomsen #104722029|
I'm curious about the information underlying the parentage of Regina Jensen Thomsen, F.A.G. Memorial #104722029. I believe this may be the granddaughter of my 4th great grandaunt. She had a daughter in Norway named Marit (aka Mary, Marie) who married a Danish immigrant named Henning Jensen. Can we compare notes? My email address is listed on my profile.
I letyou know about the wives in case you decide to make a memorial for them too.

|MrsB||for Hinelines be sure to check DeSoto Neb. cemetery|
The town of DeSoto used to be down by the Missouri River. They had a wood mill and more. Then they moved up toward the hills, and today the land is mostly Omaha Public Power District Nuclear Plant (OPPD0 That didn't happen right away--for a long time that bottom land was simply farmland.
The DeSoto cemetery is photographed and on FindaGrave. It is hard to get there--private land surrounding it and so forth. Also, there were Mormons in the area (quite a story about a Hineline grandfather who, after having outlived 2 wives (one at a time, by the way), married yet a third time. He had a terrible headache, and the 3rd wife brought over a Mormon pastor, who prayed, and the man was cured. "Baptize me and all my family--we are going to be Mormons". But then there were people who moved graves to the newer Blair cemetery.
We still have a county commissioner named Hineline--he took us to see the old DeSoto cemetery, and he told us the story--it was his GGG grandfather.
So some of the Hinelines in the Blair cemetery descend from that group.
Today the Hinelines attend a variety of churches, or none at all, depending on individual decisions.
Best wishes--I don't know all the connections between the Strickletts, the Ladwigs, and the Hinelines whose stones are in the main group picture, but the stones "match", and there is a concrete rectangle around the whole plot, so I would imagine there are some family ties.

Yes, she is buried on the right of John. No headstones. If you are family, please give me an email address, to I can tell you a few things I learned today. This cemetery has no grass, due to the cost in dry San Diego. But the place is neat, clean, and well cared for.
You are most welcome. It was my pleasure.
