Bio and Links
Bio Photo These heroes are dead. They died for liberty - they died for us. They are at rest. They may or may not sleep in the land they made free, under the flag they rendered stainless, under the solemn pines, the sad hemlocks, the tearful willows, and the embracing vines. They sleep beneath the shadows of the clouds, careless alike of sunshine or of storm, each in the windowless Place of Rest. Earth may run red with other wars - they are at peace. In the midst of battle, in the roar of conflict, they found the serenity of death. I have one sentiment for soldiers living and dead: cheers for the living; tears for the dead.

In the end, never let yourself become complacent to those who have went before us, always make time to remember the sacrifices that have been made for us by our Ancestors and the Men and Women of our Armed Forces who have guarded our Constitution with their lives, some gave all to secure our rights, liberties and freedom, 100's of thousands never came home....let us not forget as that would indeed make those, lives lost in vein...

RE: Bishop. Robert C.
A picture of Robert's grave was added to his memorial. His unit was corrected, he was actually in the XII corps, not the XXII. Just thought I'd let you know, thanks for your help.

In the same plot are

John W Bird Dedon 1936-1996
Angelo Macaluso 1900-1977
Biagio Macaluso 1872-1950
Mamie Roth Macaluso 1911-1946
Bridget Macaluso Rozarto 1872-1950
Charlie Rozarto 1908-1965
Rozario Rozarto 1871-1958

Don't know if and/or how they are related but they are in the same plot. Should you need clearer, better photos, please do not hesitate.

Coleman Lilley "Tony" McVea
Hi Michael,

Re: the duplicate memorial for Coleman Lilley "Tony" McVea. In checking the memorial number you referred me to, that memorial has been deleted. The one I created will remain. Thanks for all your help and work.

Thanks,
Annie :)
