Please use Suggest a correction, I dont get on here like I used too and when I do I can fix them.|
People have been submitted by spreadsheets over the years. Attempts have been made to eliminate living people and duplicates. If you believe a living person is included, you should submit proof to me via findagrave correction. Just because there is no date on a headstone does not mean someone is alive.
Google and other searches do not prove someone is alive, I can google many people in my tree that google would show to be well over 100 years old that I know in fact are dead.
Yes, I know there is an edit button no kidding. I will get to it as I can. Fortunately, I do not live on this site.
While I have thousands of memorials at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Rochester. They are all added based on the actual records in the office. In many cases these records only listed people as Mr. Ms, Miss. exc... I choose to leave these records as they are unless someone has added a headstone and the dates match the cemetery index I have in my posession.
Unfortunately I used to change them as unknown but I have learned over time people assume they are there family when in fact they are not and the dates do not match at all per the records of the cemetery.
Because of this reason it takes me some time to vent the record changes at this particular cemetery because I look each and every record up as time allows to ensure the accuracy.
My main lines of interest are

|EStrught||Frederick William Park|
Thank you for the photo of the monument of Frederick William Park, which is surely that of the cross-dressing stage artiste also known as Fanny Winifred Graham. It would help to set a tangled record straight if you could please add what appear to be birth and death dates cited on the monument. A birth date of 21 November 1846 is consistent with the baptism of Frederick William Park on 5 January 1847 (in St. Mary's, Wimbledon, Surrey, England). A death date of 29 March 1881 is consistent with burial on 2 April 1881, as recorded in the Mount Hope registers. The burial register also cites the cause of death as 'meningitis', which does not contradict evidence of syphilis, as reported by biographers including Neil McKenna (Fanny & Stella, London 2013). As the monument is clearly eroded, it would be a great service to double-check the dates and record them before they are obscured altogether. Thank you for your time and attention.

|Connie Fullmer||Marcus Moseman|
Hi Daryl, I was looking at the Marcus Moseman # 31357975 and the memorial says that he was born 1748 and died 1831, but when you look at the head- stone it looks like it says he was born in Sep 1811 and died in Mar 1834. It is a hard headstone to read, maybe you can read the original better. Connie

Could you tell me if she was buried by anyone or was she alone? I had an Ida A Pletsch but was married to a Berry and they divorced and trying to see if she took her maiden name back.

I recently created a memorial for Abram Vander Lyke (161954839) and Cheryl Ayres created one for his wife, Lena (155394675). I was going to delete the one I created for Abram - after researching him, going to add his children, and then stumbling upon your memorial (or, as you have him, Abraham) - but decided to leave it and reference your memorial on mine. This way, people may be able to find it more easily since they are more likely to look for him under Vander Lyke (name on headstone) as opposed to Van der Lijcke. Just wanted to let you know.

|Donna Loy Owen-Pfenninger||George Grab and Elizabeth Grab|
I notice that you posted both George and Elizabeth the same day.. are their graves together, or close? My husbands 3rd Great grandparents are Johann George and Maria Elizabeth Grab from Baden, Germany... they were born in 1799 and 1805... seems to fit the deaths of these two.. Have been unable to find either in the 1870 Census..Thanks for any help
