A small group of members from the Prince Rupert Genealogy Club are attempting to photograph every grave in the local cemetery and post these to the cemetery index we have submitted to FAG. As genealogists we appreciate this kind of information others have offered and are pleased to be able to contribute 'in kind'. Our club meets the first Tuesday of most months at the Prince Rupert library at 7:30pm|

Thank you so much for taking the time to take a photo and post it. I have deleted the one I added.
I truly appreciate it. Thank you, again.
Thanks for posting the photograph of Erik Samuelson's grave marker!

|SearchingFamilyTrees||RE: Martha Sipes memorial on FAG|
Thanks for your message explaining it was sent to me by mistake [memorial #52658153--Martha Sipes]
I saw the photo when I was doing updates for all the SIPES family who died within days of each other and knew it was not Martha of the memorial.
Thank you for trying to get a photo of the headstone for us. Much appreciated

|OxTom||RE: addition of names Macrae|
I have just suggested a further revision on-line to you, based on further digging:
Husband of Clara Heather. She also married Fred Dunphy.
Son of Roderick MacRae and Margaret Mary Jane Macrae.
Father of 3 daughters, Patricia (m. Conrad Goddard), Derene (m. Earle Phillips) and Kathleen (m. Mike Woodhouse).
No, I haven't been able to determine any places of burial of Christopher's immediate family, above.
The MacRae accident is unusual as Anyox was abandoned in 1935 and his 1960 death there is the only one in the area in the ensuing years.
I show the following Fair View interments for Anyox deaths:
Alexander Newlands Davie # 52640011;
Christopher MacRae: # 52676769;
Charles Edward Frederick Wells: # 52658978.
Thanks for your communication.

I wonder why you were unable to just link to the memorial?
Memorial # is 52659138
|Val Campbell||RE: Edgar, Guy and Clara Davis|
Val, would you please clarify for me these dates of Edgar, Guy and Clara Davis. I have Edgar, son, birthdate Mar. 26 1936; Guy, father, 1909-1981 and Clara, mother (1871-1930)as per your request to update their information.
Edgar Guy (son) was born Mar 25 (not 26), 1936 (as per BC Archives: http://search-collections.royalbcmuseum.bc.ca/Genealogy/DisplayGenealogyImage?k=162b9449-20e6-4f63-a253-628ef7e70003)
Guy (father) - Mar 1, 1909 to May 28, 1981 (http://search-collections.royalbcmuseum.bc.ca/Genealogy/DisplayGenealogyImage?k=dc40244f-e11d-4173-88f3-d7e8873c779a)
Clara (mother?) - death at Prince Rupert on Jan 26, 1930 at age 59 (BC Archives index). Maybe not mother because she was much older than Guy.
|Paul R||RE: Re. Edits|
I do not have a connection the the cemetery. I am working to make FindAGrave better. It is not immaterial if the middle name is in the first or middle name box. The FindAGrave search page allows for searches on first, middle, maiden and last names. If the middle name/initial is in the first name field, it cannot be searched for. If you have 'George Henry' in the first name field and someone searches for a first name of 'George' and a middle name of 'Henry', the search won't find the memorial. That is why I am trying to clean up as many memorials that I can find. With the edit system they now have in place, it is easy for the memorial owner to accept the edits.
I will stop sending you edits if you want. Do you want me to stop?
