Hi, my name is Jane and I was born and raised in Indiana. I found this website about seven years ago and I began adding many of my family and friends. Since then I have lost both my Mother and my Father, they are now here on Find-a-grave also, and I want to thank each and everyone of you who take the time to stop by their site and leave flowers or a note they are greatly appreciated. I love to read about other people's lives and leave flowers for them also. |
A very SPECIAL thanks to "Angel moz" for sponsoring our Mothers page.
HEAVEN is what I cannot reach!
The apple on the tree,
Provided it do hopeless hang,
That "heaven" is, to me.
The color on the cruising cloud,
The interdicted ground
Behind the hill, the house behind,—
There Paradise is found!

|A P McDaniel||Sarah Coulter Raynels|
Thank you for all your work for Find a Grave! It means so much to all of us who live elsewhere and cannot get to the site to get information.
I am hoping to get more about the Sarah Coulter Raynels headstone. My maiden name is Poynter, I was born in Indiana and now live in Richmond, VA. My grandmother was Dorothy Heldt Poynter and her mother (my great grandmother) was Margaret Reynolds. She had one brother and her parents are James M Reynolds and Sarah Coulter.
Sarah died at the age of 26. James, left with two children, remarried and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery with his second wife Mary Ham. Sarah Coulter was born Jan 1861 in Ireland and died 24 Oct 1887 in Crawfordsville, Montgomery, IN.
I have hit a brick wall in getting any more information. I am really hoping to get some leads and wondered if since James Reynolds and Sarah Coulter Raynels are buried in the same cemetery there might be a connection? Anything you might be able to tell me is much appreciated.
|Frances and Mabel||Overdue thank you!|
Thank you for transferring the Clements and Stockdale memorials to me. You do a fine job here, and your work is greatly appreciated. Thank you again.
Thank you for letting me take over for Gertrude and Elmer. Am updating and connecting them to family right now. You do great work! - Steve

Thanks for updating Isabelle McCoy.
|James Edwards||Elbert Martin Edwards|
My name is James Oscar Edwards, and I live in Milan, Michigan. We, the descendants of William Edwards and Charity Darnell Edwards are attempting to link the entire family. On 15, May 1920, Annie E. Alexander (NEE Stadler) were wed at Hendricks County, Indiana.
Elbert's first wife had passed in 1913, and Annie E.'s first husband in 1916. Although their union lasted only a short time, Annie is still a part of our ancestral database.
If you should like to check out Find A Grave memorial #3742846, you can glean some dates, as you share in a duplicate memorial that was created in 2013.
We are all in this together, and I mean only to help, and not disrupt the process.
