Your memorial for him is in Antioch Cemetery. "Angels" has one that pre-dates yours, same stone but in Stephens Cemetery. You might want to check your records, maybe check with Angels. I also had an entry, in an even different cemetery(!), but mine was an error so I deleted it.

Mary Hutzel Romain
I sent a message a few days ago. Was this marker recently uncovered from the sod? Is it hand made?

Having thought about this several times, I've concluded that Mary Hutzel of this stone is Mary Meredith Martin (Cooper) (Hutzel) whose daughter Eliza Jane Hutzel married John H. Romain.

Mary Meredith Martin Hutzel died 31 Jul 1871 based on her will recorded shortly before her death. Her husband, George Hutzel, died in the Civil War and is buried in the infamous Andersonville Prison near Atlanta, GA.

Mary Martin was the oldest surviving daughter of Wm and Elizabeth (nee Browne) Martin, both of whom reportedly are buried in McNeal cemetery.

The Martin family is from Fauquier Co., VA, moved to Licking Co., OH, and in 1852 moved to Parke Co, IN, other members of the family going on to Scotland Co., MO.

Mary Hutzel Romain
She is part of my Martin family tree.

According to the census records, she was born in Aug '91 and is listed as Mary H. Romain. She has an older sister, Fredonia 4 yrs older. The mother Eliza J(ane) (Hutzel) is listed as the mother of 5 children, 3 living.

She is not with the family in the 1910 census; I'm assuming that she died before then.

1900 census, Green Tp, Parke Co., IN, page 9 of 22, family #109.

Thank you very much for the photo. I wasn't able to get to my father's burial/funeral and had never gotten to see the grave. I really appreciate the effort. - Steve Fields

Phelibena Zollman
Good Evening Miss Geraldine,
First thank you for the various Zolmans of Ohio memorial transfers that Mr. Elliot once created.
Much appreciated.
Second, could you update the spelling of Phelibena Zollman so her entry matches her gravestone? Then if you could be so kind to family link her memorial entry to her parents:
Father: Johann Philip Zollman, entry # 5072591
Mother: Catharina Phelibena Zollman, entry # 31384213.
Thank you for your time. -Marc G.

Zolman Family Links
Good Evening Miss Geraldine,
I saw your entry on another distant relative's message page that you have taken over limited management of Elliott's entries, Great!
If I may ask to start out with, can you family link Lafayette Zolman's memorial to his 1st wife's entry, Mrs. Sarah (nee Adams) Zolman, entry # 6227414? (Also owned by Mr. Elliott)
Then could you family link Lafayette's entry to his parents' entries? Lewis Zolman, entry # 39903878 and mother Abigail Zolman, entry # 6265952.
Thank you for your time & commitment towards Find-a-Grave. There are a few more Elliot owned Zolman/Zollman entries that are need of updating I'll try to re-track down.
-Marc G.
