I am happy to transfer memorials-just ask. |
I welcome corrections, updates, links, and additional information on my memorials. Findagrave is a joy when people work together in the spirit of collaboration.
If a fellow contributor takes the time and trouble to send links and updates, please accept them in good faith. Findagrave does not require us to provide documentation at all, let alone several sources.
Thank you to everyone who has cheerfully added the information and links I've asked for, and a pox on those who won't. And thanks to the photographers who go out in the cold and heat to get photographs of stones for us all. Findagrave couldn't exist without the 'boots on the ground' folks.
Thank you to my Findagrave friends who help me with locating burials and stitching my pieces. Without you I'd have a much harder time, make a lot more mistakes, and not have nearly as much fun.
The lines I look for are Worsham and Moody on my mother's side, O'Quinn, Summers, Rentz and Kinard on my father's side.
If you have time, please visit the memorial of a great lady, my friend Winona Rhodes

Wow, can't understand why someone would delete after all that work.
I will watch for the name.
Campbells were family friends.
|Valerie Neal||Effie Main|
It is the parents I can not confirm. I just want the information to be accurate.
You do not have any burial information specified for Betty Treadway, so I was wondering how this listing came to be. I am related, but do not know the specifics of her burial either, and wondered if you were related or just posting obituaries.
Thanks a lot!

|Gary McGraw||RE: Wyman Benjamin GRAY obit.|
Anna, I've unsuccessfully looked for SC obits for these brothers:
McCajah (Micajah) HUTSON b: 1841 d: Aug, 6, 1927 in Hardeevilee, SC; buried: Beaufort, SC
Berry HUTSON b: 1836 d: Between 1900-1910 presumably in Beaufort Co.
William HUTSON B: Jan 1830 d: Between 1900-1910 presumably in Beaufort Co. but may have been Charleston. May be buried in Early Branch, SC.
Any help with obituarys is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!
|Gary McGraw||Wyman Benjamin GRAY obit.|
Anna, you posted an Obituary for Wyman Benjamin GRAY. I have been trying for years to prove a connection to my grandfather, Hugh GRAY of Beaufort... and here I find that connection (listed as a half-brother to Wyman)in the obituary you posted! Fantastic! Are you personally researching the GRAY family at all? Thanks!

Her death certificate states "Lowry Family Cemetery" as place of burial.
|paddysmom||RE: Sandfield cemetery|
I uploaded the start of the pictures for the cemetery, Find A Grave declined them on this page as not being approp for the general page of a cemetery. I do have pictures of each of the extant markers, but I guess I would have to create a specific memorial for each of the persons. I just don't have the time right now.
If you have a name and I have a shot, I'd be happy to send you the picture.

Thanks for the kind comment...it was nice to "hear". I hope you will take a moment to leave a flower on his site....
