I have been visiting cemeteries since I was a young child and have had a major interest in my own families ancestry since I was 15 years old. I found this site by accident in June 2006 and am now trying to get my family branches filled in a bit better. If you find someone I have added and you want to change information or would like a transfer of ownership, please just let me know as I am happy to help. I have no known family buried in Clark County, Nevada. I now live in the State of New Hampshire. Happy Ancestor Hunting everyone!
Samuel Wilson Hi Evleta, I read on Samuel's memorial page that Samuel was your husband's 3rd great grandfather. Samuel is also my 3rd great grandfather. I was just wondering which of his children your husband is related to. Abbie S. is my great great grandmother.
Benjamin J Hamby Hi. Kurt Graham here. I co-authored the history of the Phillips Legion Infantry Battalion (To Honor These Men, Mercer Univ Press 2007) and enjoyed your nice write up on Ben Hamby. If you would like to add more information on his military background, I can send this along for you to add to your write up. This would include his progression through the ranks, battles he fought in, etc. Let me know. Regards, Kurt PS I live in Smyrna, Ga and often drive right by Ben's grave.
Bunkers Eden Dale Cemetery I think that's right. You have a couple that are descended from my Culpeppers. May I make a copy to place on Ancestry.com? I will, or course, give you credit for the photographs.
Eliza Jane Fisher Eliza was also my X2 great grandmother. Her daughter Tabitha (My Great grandmother) married John Henry Williams (Eliza's stepson and Tabitha's step-brother.) John Henry was my great grandfather. His father was Elijah W Williams. My cousin has numerous letters written by the Jones siblings to their Williams siblings. 'Hope to hear from you.
