Cheryl,
Thank you for these photos of my great grandparents.
Do you have any idea as to what the inscription is, at the base of their headstones?
I'm seeking further information on Mary and her family.

Thank you for everything!

Thanks, Cheryl, for your efforts in trying to locate the stone. These old 1700 - 1800 stones are often missing or unreadable, but so appreciate all your efforts to support Find A Grave and its mission.

Isaac & Maude Swope Headstone
I was thrilled to see their headstone! For years I hunted for verification they were buried in Broad Top. At first I guessed and later, I was able to verify with death certificates. The photos are icing on the cake.

Broad Top Cemetery
I, for one, very much appreciate all the work you are doing at Broad Top Cemetery (and catching my errors!) I sincerely appreciate it.

Marshall Swope
Thank you for the photo of Uncle Marshall's headstone. My father, and the entire family was devastated when he was killed in the mine cave in. I am working on Wilbur Swope. I am not sure if that was his son. His widow lived with William Williams for years and had children to him and didn't marry him until the children were grown. So, even though she gave them the Swope name, their father was a Williams. I will let you know.

A Big thank YOU!
Say, Cheryl, a group of us have been photographing Riverview Cemetery this week and I keep seeing your name as a creator or adding photos over the years - I just want to thank you for the awesome job you have been doing in documenting the cemetery. This is a very large cemetery - your dedication is to be commended. Thanks so much for your continued support for Find A Grave.

RE: Alice A. Shields Depew
I have an obituary of her sister, which lists all the siblings and their parents - Augustus and Suzanne Shields. If you can send me your e-mail, I can send it to you as an attachment, as it is saved on my computer as a PDF file. Diane
