Hi my name is Kim, married with 2 wonderful children. I love to spend time outdoors and spend time with family and friends. |
I just recently started a family tree. I came across this website and realized this is a great place. I have used this site several times myself, so I thought that I would give back by adding local cemeteries. My friend Robin (Rob) & I have done the Franklinville & Seven Stars Cemetery. I have to say that writing down all the names and taking photos was very interesting for us both. I just wish that we had the chance to meet them and hear their story about life.
Thank you to everyone that submitted information to this site.
If there are any corrections or additions to the names I post please contact me and I will be sure to get it fixed or added.
Also if you see a memorial that you would like transferred please let me know but be sure to add your member #. I will not make a transfer if I am related. I would be glad to transfer ANY other memorail to your ownership. I am here to help others. I am NOT like others that add memorials and WON'T transfer them. It's not about how many I add and it's not a race to see who adds the most. I AM HERE TO HELP!!
The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it.

Thank you Kim, love the hat!
|Jimmyg4020||Thomas and Daniel Griffith|
Thank you for the work you do on Findagrave. It is always appreciated when one can locate a lost relative.
May I have your permission to use your pictures of Thomas and Daniel's grave stones in my family tree project? They are my great grand uncles.
Thank you for your consideration.

I am the great great great granddaughter of Mary Whitsel. In reviewing US census records for 1870, I found that Catherine (a.k.a. Marie Catherine) is listed as being 75 years of age. Therefore, her birth date should be 1795, and not 1789 as appears on her headstone. Would you please give me any other sources where I could conclusively verify her date of birth? Also, if you have any information regarding her exact place of birth-she is listed as having been born in Baden Germany, on the 1870 U.S. census.
Thank you for your time and efforts!
