Bio and Links
Bio Photo A Philly native transplanted to Manassas, VA. (Mom's side of the family was North and Dad's was South.) I grew up in the Frankford section of Philly, very close to three large cemeteries.

I am not related to, nor have further information regarding, most of the names that I have added to this site. The information comes from a variety of sources, including interment records, obituaries, and tombstone inscriptions.

I am always happy to update/correct records that I have added to the site with verifiable information/resources.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are requesting transfer of a memorial to you, please explain the reason for the transfer. I am under no obligation to transfer a memorial I have added to findagrave and reserve the right to refuse any request. Thank you.

Thank you for searching for Maggie Clore
It looks like she was widowed before she married Parker Clore in 1942. It looks like her previous married name was Perkey, I don't know what her first husband's first name was. Anyway, thanks for trying. I am going to close the request and request it again with the note that it may be under the surname Perkey in case anybody else comes across it while there.

Husband of Isabella Ewing Robinson
I found the death certificate online of Isabella Ewing Robinson's husband, Joseph Robinson, who died in Colwyn, Delaware Co, PA on 23 Feb 1942 indicating wife "Isabell" and that he was interred in Mt Moriah Cemetary. 1900 Census indicates he was born in 1862 but death record states 22 May 1868. Jim

Wm Watts Find A Grave # 30562775
Hi CGL. I don't really know how to reference this but William Watts was originally buried in Ronaldson's Cemetery in Philadelphia. When that cemetery was sold (1950) the remains were to be removed to Forest Hills Cemetery. How could that be noted for him (and others of this family that were buried in Ronaldson's and Lafayette Cemetery that was also sold and turned into a play ground. WHICH caused concerns: See Philly.com post of 09 Oct 1988 "A Tale Of 47.000 Bodies, Final Resting Place Unknown."by Donna Shaw.)? Thanks so much - Patti
PS: My Great-Grandmother's first husband was
Samuel Watts: He and one of their sons were buried in Lafayette Cemetery. Samuel's mother(Mary Ann Gordon Watts),his father(William Watts #30562775) and another son were originally buried in Ronaldson's.

Joseph Hobson
Thanks for adding the Hobsons to Cedar Hill. He is my great grandfather and I added a picture of his marker. I am still in Frankford and publish the Frankford Gazette. www.frankfordgazette.com

Joseph's wife was from Alexandria.
