I am a graduate of Shippensburg University. I am now certified to teach art K-12. I live in Biglerville, PA and am a substitute teacher and photographer on the side. |
I'm searching for the names Slaybaugh, Weidner, Starner, Hummer, Stauffer, Rice, Meals, Griffie, Griffin/Griffen, Spangler/Spengler on my mom's side.
I'm searching for the names Swiger, Queen, McCoy, Singleton, Matthews, Backus/Beckes/Bechues on my father's side.
If you share the last names that I am searching for or know any history for the above names, please do not hesitate to contact me! I love learning about my family history!
Please message me with any corrections for a memorial and for any transfer requests and I'd be happy to make said corrections or do the transfers!
The link listed as my website is the family tree I have built. Feel free to take a look or join if you'd like! It consists of 250 relatives with several family photos. More photos to come in the future!

thank you for going out
|Sue Berfield||David Wilson|
Thank you so much for the photo.
|Sally K. Price||Amos and Anna Maginley|
Thank you so much for these photos of their headstones. I really appreciate the time and effort you had to put into taking these photos.
Is it possible that you could read how old he was when he died. It is important because I am trying to match him to someone in my McGinley family. Anna's surname was McGinley, not Maginley. I suspect the same will be true for Amos as the McGinleys used the name Amos for the late 1600s through the 1800s, as did the families they married into like mine, the Miller family.
Hello again Erica,
Thank you so very much for your generosity in transferring Margaret E. Taughinbaugh Deatrick to my care. I have now successfully "reunited" her, & as more information is found I will add it to OUR memorial.
Your willingness to share is much appreciated.
With regards and sincerest thanks,

I see that you have Stauffer in your family search and I have a sister who is married to a Stauffer from the Van Wert, Ohio area. I live in Decatur, IN and there are a lot of Stauffer's buried in the Decatur Cemetery!! Just thought I would pass that info on;)
