Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've lived in Mississippi, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Louisiana, and traveled in many other states. I currently reside in west Texas. Genealogy research should be shared. Anyone who wants my pictures or information is welcome to it. I am grateful to those who unselfishly post their findings and pictures and share with others. My work is motivated by a desire to help others.
I also appreciate the team efforts of findagrave members-those who contribute pictures, obituaries, and family links. I don't mind death certificates on my postings. Not only is this site used to perpetuate the memory of loved ones, but it is also used to help others track their ancestors.
If you are asking me to link family members, please don't just give me numbers. Give a name with the memorial number. It is easier to catch mistakes.

Perkinsville Cemetery/Winston Co. MS
I wanted to let you know that we photographed Perkinsville Cemetery in Winston Co. MS today. I noticed while I was attaching photos to the memorials that you had done most of them. I thought you might like to look at the photos and add inscriptions to your memorials and/or link family members to one another. We had about six graves we could not find............God Bless, Pam

Charlie Oehler - The Dutchman
RE: Sophie Ottmers
Thank you for contacting me. I was going to contact you once again when I received your message on Find A Grave. I am total agreement with you on her maiden name of Laehe. I have been in contact with Debbie Klinksiek who is the sole person in charge of the Fredericksburg & Gillespie County Genealogy website. The organization no longer has any members other than Debbie, but Debbie is great for information on German Families. All this to say that I asked her about Sophie Ottmers and her maiden name. Debbie is quite sure it was Laehe and that Roche could have been a person she married for a very short time at a vey young age before marrying Henry Stucke. I have not seen any proof that she was married to a Roche, so I will list her maiden name as Laehe to match her Father's name. Should you wish to e:mail Debbie, her e:mail address is and the website is .
Thank you.....Charlie Oehler in Austin, Texas

RE: Isabella Ann Childress Twitty
So long way around you are cousin to my wife. Isabella is her great great grandmother. Would you change the dob and dod based on Isabella's certificate of death?

Isabella Ann Childress Twitty
Memorial # 52288745
I submitted an edit request for the birth and death dates on Isabella's memorial. Reason for the requested change is data on Isabella's Certificate of Death.
dob Dec 17, 1837
dod Dec 17, 1911

if agreeable I would request transfer of this memorial to me, Member Number 47242980. Isabella is a link in our family tree and we are doing research for DAR and SAR applications.

Glenwood Cemetery
I don't live in Yazoo City but do work there. I probably can't do it all, but I am trying to take sections at a time to make sure all are listed. It is a big cemetery and so far I have only done one "block". I am starting with the newer parts and working down to the older parts. It is such a beautiful cemetery. I spent summers with my Aunt in Yazoo City and used to sneak up there to play. If I can be of any assistance let me know. You may be receiving more edits from me in the future! Thanks!

RE: Juanita Riddell
Yes. All of Uncle Hen's children were born in West Virginia and not Ohio. Uncle Hen moved to Ohio after the death of his first wife, Christina Thornton. Juanita and her siblings were born in Mason, Putnam and Kanawha counties of WV.

re: B. S. Marshall #64313494
So Sorry. I did an edited for your memorial using the edit grave form and accidentally put Berry's middle name as Swan. I don't have any proof of that. It could be Swan or Stowers and it isn't worked out yet. Berry is correct though. Thanks, Shannon
