Bio Photo Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

We have been researching for a couple decades. Families: Buckmaster, Patterson, Wollam, all variations of Teatsorth, Falk/Faulk, Johnson, Lee, Collier, Eschbarger, Orr, Brinton, Thomas, Grau, Hyde, Case, all variations of Brandeberry, Richcrick (Reichenbach), Slote, Balken, Ulmstead, Flower, Dick, Graham, Hyatt, and many more.

Also a focus on those who have fought for and kept us free ~ our American veterans. We have a virtual cemetery for these units: 31st and 49th Ohio Infantry who fought during the Civil War.

hoped to take a photo for Wanda Austin but...
I took the photo request for Wanda Austin, and there is no plot. I called the cemetery, and they said they could look up ONE name for free to find the plot number but otherwise they charge $25 an hour to help with anybody's genealogy. Their phone number is 402-223-3129, open 7:30am-4 pm weekdays. We are traveling to Beatrice Evergreen on Friday--if you could locate the plot for me, they will let me look at their indoor map for free. There are 10,000+ graves in that cemetery.
My phone number is 402-278-1751, and a plot would be most helpful.

This death date is actually the birthdate, I requested a correction but haven't heard back.

RE: John Wollam

Thank you,

I have been looking for these two children of Samuel & Emily Teed Wollam for years. I am in the process of updating their memorials and linking their descendants.

I will update what I am able to as time goes on.

Thanks for your co-operation.

Sincerely,

Michael Teed

RE: Grace Elliot Inmon
Thanks, I have been researching the Chastain family as my mother was a Chastain. Some Ancestry records have Grace married to my great uncle Luther, but his wife did not die until 1948 and Grace was already dead in 1947. He moved to Oregon about the time he was 3 years old and never returned to Missouri as far as I know. Thanks again, Gary Webb

I just wonder where the Chastain name came from in her memorial. She was listed as single in the 1900, 1920, 1930 and 1940 censuses and on her Missouri Death Certificate #37817.

RE: Dewey Richard Ketchum
Thank you so much for your reply. My Grandfather, Abner, died when I was a young girl, I don't know too much about his side of family, other than Dewey, a sister & some half siblings.
