I take what I do on Find A Grave very seriously, I don't guess or make up things when I send a SAC, I have researched before I submit. Please if you're going to suggest that I'm guessing, at least include your email address or allow messages to be left on your contributor page.

Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where other cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.

Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.

Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.

Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.

Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.

Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.

Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.

The Final Gift

Scatter me not to restless winds
Nor scatter my ashes to the sea
Remember now those years gone by
When loving gifts I gave to thee
Remember now the happy times
The family ties we shared
Don't leave my resting place unmarked
As though you never cared
Deny me not one final gift
For all who come to see
A single lasting proof that says
I loved....and you loved me

Memorial 20657525
I think the name on this memorial should be Leonora Todd Phillips, not Leonard Phillips. She was married to Albert R. Phillips, also buried in this cemetery, and died on the same date as shown in your memorial.

Memorial #16150231 Rigmaiden
Hello: I noticed that there are now two Flora E. Baggett Rigmaiden memorials, yours and #90170607. Flora was my Aunt and I know that her gravesite is in Oroville, CA not Whispering Pines Cemetery in Plumas County. Also, the other memorial has more information. Would you consider taking yours off to avoid confusion?
Thank you.

Biaggi Family
Do you know for a fact they died in Santa Clara County or you guess because they are buried there.

George Abbay memorial #88275258

I'm adding the photos I took the other day at Mountain View Cemetery... and i got to your memorial for George off of the children. Would you like to add Mountain View as his final resting place, or at least he has a marker.

Thanks Kathy

Netti Gulling
I claimed a request for Netti Gulling, which said she was in the Masonic Cemetery... Shes not. She is in Mountain View Cemetery. Could you please update the cemetery, so that I can input my photo? Her plot is B-223-7.

I'm sorry, this is Ina and Andrew's son also. You might want to attach him to them also. Sorry, I should have looked closer at the family buried there. Thanks again Randy
