RE: Sarah Hogue Stansberry Kendall
This is so strange. We did not even make a memorial for Meda Orndorf. I must have found her death record when I was researching Her Banfield parents, planning to,make a memorial. I must have dragged it to the desktop and then added it to the wrong person. I guess I will go ahead and make a memorial for the poor lady. Thanks again so much. Have a wonderful holiday!

RE: Sarah Hogue Stansberry Kendall
Wow! When I make a mistake, I make a BIG one. Thanks so much for finding that and adding the correct one. I see the Orndorff woman had a maiden name of Banfield, and I remember their sad story. I have an early appointment , but I will put my husband to work on it (even though I am sure I was the culprit!) Thank, you, thank you!

RE: White Family
I promise I have saved all your info and I will be starting to document the family thoroughly. I have many people who read my messages and many Fosters and Whites have contacted me on this endeavor I took on. I have been sidetracked temporarily. I am documenting our oldest cemetery by adding every grave that is visible to Find A Grave. I am over half-way through it so it should not take me too much longer but I have to finish that first and then the Talbot estate will be next on my list. It will take me a lot longer than what it is taking me to do the cemetery since the volume of genealogy stuff is astronomical and goes way back to at least the 1800's. Her hobby was genealogy too. The 3 families she traced were the Whites, Talbots, and Fosters.

Capt Daniel Davis
Hello, my records indicate that Elizabeth Whittemore married Capt Daniel Davis who was in the American Revolution. The grave site shown is for Capt Davis. Is there a grave site for his wife, Elizabeth Whittemore?

White Family
I have been looking for family of the Whites as I own the estate ephemera of the John White descendants. From the 1800's I have the scrapbook of Florinel White Talbott, photos, documents, etc. I noticed that you said John White was your grandparent. I hope to hear from you as I have been trying to add the family that I have here. They were big into genealogy and the amount I have is overwhelming. Scrapbooks full of obituaries of family.

Marshall Harvey - Note #2
Also, please make sure that you are not duplicating a memorial which is already on Find-A-Grave.

My photo is attached to a memorial for Marshall Harvey, and there is a memorial for his wife, so check those out before you create anything new.

Duplicate memorials can be a pain - it would be better to ask for permission to take over managing a memorial than creating a duplicate!

Marshall Harvey
Thank you for asking permission to use my photo. As long as you cite my work on the memorial, I am fine that you use it. I do not copyright these photos, but do appreciate that other find-a-grave users recognize the work that the volunteers do to keep the website going!

Good luck with your continued family search!

RE: Garant in Holy Cross, Alpena
I finally added all the photos to all of the Garant memorials that I photograped (some were your requests). The marker for Della, which I only photograped from a distance on one side, is the intriguing one. The left side of that marker had the children Arnold and Ovel (which also were added to their memorials). I'm assuming that Della died, and Joseph remarried to Nellie. Joseph and Nellie are listed on the right side of the stone, but the sun was not in my favor at that time of the day for a good image to upload. All three of them also have individual ground markers, which also were added.

The interesting part of the tall marker, is that on the fourth side were Charles and Ida Rose Royer, which also have memorials on Find A Grave. Not sure what the connection is. I also have a very poor image because of the sun location, so I did not add those either.

Now moving on to the other location of markers, were the two markers similar to the above one, which were side by side. One had Joseph and Zoe, with nothing on the other 3 sides. The other had Rose, wife of Antoine on the front, and the left side had Alfred and William. The other two sides were blank. I did notice when I added the photo to Alfred's, that the birth date matched the memorial, but the death date was off by many years from what was on the marker.

I hope this information helps you in your quest, and if you would like copies of the badly shadowed (almost impossible to read) photos let me know. Hopefully next time I'm up there I will remember to go back and photograph the other sides in the early morning, or on an overcast day.

My godmothers parents are in this cemetery, and I stop and visit them every time I'm up that way.
