RE: Photo requests at Royal Oak Burial Park in Victoria, BC
The site is section I Plot 149- Grave 2.

Here is the site from the Cemetery office. Thanks for the info, I've saved the email for future reference. I think there are several other relatives buried there also . . . but they are not listed on Find A Grave yet.

RE: Levan Cullison pic
Hello Betty & Dan,
Thank you so very much for sending me the contact info for Royal Oak; I did hear back from Susan & Humphreyetc was indeed correct with the plot numbers - my apologies to her/him. Thank you again for being so thorough & for enabling me to double check with the burial park to confirm 100% that there was no marker. Unfortunate for me, but I do thank you so very much for going to all of the effort you have gone to to fulfill my request and to go that extra step further to confirm the plot. Many, many thanks to you both! Annie

Thank you so much for taking the time to find my GGGF's gravestone, although there was no marker, unfortunately & oddly...He had family alive to purchase a marker; I don't know why there wouldn't be one.

I can't see where I can confirm the plot coordinates that Humphreysetc has for his memorial other than paying a fee to the Victoria Genealogical Society. Not that I don't trust that person to have put the correct information down, but...I like to confirm info myself & didn't think to do that before until I received the email telling me you had taken a pic for my request.

I very much appreciate that you took the time to look and fulfill my request, especially since there was nothing to find - that must have taken more of your time to look for something that wasn't there & to come up empty was likely slightly disappointing for you as well as me. I guess it's just another mystery I'll never know the answer to.
Again, I really appreciate you taken the time to do this,
Many thanks,

RE: William Matthews photo request
Hi Betty and Dan
I haven't been able to find very much info on him at all. I am curious about his cause of death and his movements across state and country borders as he started out in England and went to America and Canada via Australia but I have not been able to find any of those records after Australia. I assume he arrived in America around 1886/87 but that's only going by where and when his children were born. Any info you can send along with the photos would be greatly appreciated.
His widow Mary Ellen Matthews nee Rogers remarried and according to family folklore, also traveled back and forth between Australia and America before finally settling in America. Her three sons (one was my great grandfather) returned to Australia at some stage so I don't know whether this was before or after their fathers death and she was just visiting. There is a family story that she was nasty to her daughter-in-law (my great grandmother).
Any info you have on him would be greatly appreciated as he is a bit of a mystery to us.

Many thanks to you both for the photo of Maj Thomas Alexander Cochrane's grave. Without this photo I would not have been able to research the last 30 years of his life. I have uploaded two photos one taken in WW1 and the other WW2. It may interest you to know what he looked like.

Once again, many thanks. Sheila

Robert Hanna
Dear Dan and Betty, Thank you very much for the information you provided me of the grave of my great grandfather Robert Hanna. I also especially appreciated the article of his death from the newspaper and obituary. I was in Canada when I received the information, unfortunately, my iPad would not let me respond to the link to write back to you.

While in Canada though, I was able to share the information with my Aunt, which was her grand father. She only had heard he had died by being kicked in the head, as I was told also. She would like to put a grave stone on the empty grave site. So, I told her I would look into that for her.

I would like to find more of Robert Hanna's relatives in Ireland, so I am hot on the trail.

Thank you again, Shelly Peacock

Frank and Anna Feil pages
I just completed a very extensive Feil family tree with over 500 names over 150 years. Some of the information I was able to find on this findagrave site, and noticed you had posted some pictures of my great-grandparents, Frank and Anna Feil, which I do not have. Where were you able to obtain them, and are you possibly a relative? Please respond
Thank you!!
