|We both enjoy the hobby of genealogy, and value the information that can often be gleaned from grave markers. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO MAKE USE OF ANY PHOTOS WE'VE POSTED TO ENHANCE YOUR FAMILY TREE. Once we're retired (in a few more years), we plan to become more active as photo volunteers to be able to contribute more.|
FYI: We are working towards photographing all of the approximately 2900 grave markers at the Veteran's Cemetery in Esquimalt - Sections D,E,F & OFFICE have been completed - Section AA is in progress. The rest to follow. If you'd like a photo not yet uploaded (or a retake on any existing photo), please post a photo request, and we will get it at the first opportunity.

Thank you so much for going out and taking photos of the graves of the Halliday family for me. It was a wonderful surprise to see them waiting for me this evening on my computer.

many thanks for doing the photo-and particularly for adding it to the other three.

Hello Betty & Dan,
Just a short note to let you know that we are truly grateful and overjoyed for the splendid photos of our Great Grand Uncle Ebenezer Vinall's grave. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to help a total stranger with my request and to pinpoint his burial location including his wife Catherine. The photos are priceless.
Finally, and most important, thank you for your contributions as a volunteer Find A Grave contributor. You can be assured your photo contributions on Find A Grave will be appreciated by families today, many you may never hear from, and the photos will surely be appreciated by future generations.
Again, thank you so much for fulfilling my photo request; your kindness made me very happy.
Have a great evening,
Jackie from Oklahoma City USA

Thank you for taking the photo of her grave. I very much appreicate it!
Hi. I found a plaque out at the Metchosin Cemetery about Lord Rodney. Apart from being a Lord, he seems to be a very famous fellow. I am wondering if you would mind me putting up the picture of the plaque on your page for him, then you will see what all the fuss is about.

Not sure if I thanked you for taking the time to mark the location of Jesse Triggs' burial location. You were very kind to do so; much appreciated.

Thank you. Another addiction, geez. Yes I had found the online list of internments. I have done a fair bit of family research and spent quite a bit of time at the archives by the museum. Another addiction. At the time I was going there they were in the process of putting the registrations online. But I have already found a couple that arent online from Metchosin so I get to go back down again next week. Love a good hunt. I can see myself going back to Metchosin, and I have a son who lives in Sooke, so I may get out there and have a look around too. Thanks for your reply. Good luck on the veterans cemetery.

Betty,Dan. Thats quite a challenge photographing Veterans on Colville road. I was out at Metchosin Cemetery today. What a beautiful little church and cemetery. Was there with intent on photographing the Field family. Photographed a few more and may go back and continue with as many as I can. I'm new on here but got the bug already. I have a few pictures of the church and grounds I took today, I see you have put some up, do you mind if I put up a couple of mine?

|HerberFeilFamily||Frank and Anna Feil pages|
I just completed a very extensive Feil family tree with over 500 names over 150 years. Some of the information I was able to find on this findagrave site, and noticed you had posted some pictures of my great-grandparents, Frank and Anna Feil, which I do not have. Where were you able to obtain them, and are you possibly a relative? Please respond
