Thank you so much for taking a picture of the footstone. I'm guessing at one time there might of been a headstone with more details but time and damage might of destroyed it.

Thank you for searching for the gravesite of Joshua White, there in British Columbia.

I recently found the Joshua Judson White that I was looking for in Hamilton, Ontario.

I do appreciate your efforts to locate his grave. I have removed my request.

It is good that you have caused me to look at my list of photo requests and delete the ones I have found elsewhere. I've not thought about doing it before; but it is important. Thank you.

Is not half siblings with John Reginald Bates. Not sure how that happened. I know this for sure. Thanks for the photo of James A. Bates.

RE: Ásta Lára María Einarsdóttir Goodman
Oh that's interesting :-) So Dan is of Icelandic decent also? Ásta María's mother was Sigríður Láretta Pétursdóttir, her mother was Anna Margrete Thorgrimsen and she was my great-grandfathers sister.
I would love to get in touch with Ásta María's decendants, do you happen to know any of them?
I also wanted to ask about another thing. I have a website,, that focuses on Icelandic gravestones, and also those for people of Icelandic decent. Would it be okay to add your photo to my site?
Best regards
