Many thanks for taking the time to find the burial location and for taking the photograph. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.
|Denise Pitka||Re: Mem 110445435 and Christoph|
I was not sure if you have access to the Death Certificate for Christoph Roberts or not and if you are family or not. I have also found a marriage certificate and a very detailed obituary for his wife.
Upon searching Mission Hill Crematorium I found a cemetery named that on Find A Grave if you want to create a memorial for him there.

I did not get notification that my photo request had been full filled, but I did notice on my own. I want to thank you for locating and photo graphing his grave site. I appreciate your time and effort.
I want to thank you for the obituaries, that confirm, even with the misspelling on the memorial.
Austin's wife remarried. She and her husband are buried in this same cemetery.
Ardna M. Wallace McDonald (died May 30, 1971) and her husband is John F. McDonald (died July 31, 1957)
How could I locate obituaries for them? Are they online or indexed anywhere?

Thank you ever so much for posting the obituary for John William Rose. It is through folks like you that makes this hobby so much more rewarding. I'm wondering if there is an obituary for his wife Elizabeth (nee Firkins) Rose who died November 9, 1980 in Victoria

I also love that you allow free use of the photos you've posted. I do the same. I hope what photos I have posted help others and it also lures in relatives and information about our common interests and ancestors in the photos.
I have found all kinds of great images at the Digital Public Library! It indexes many of the special collections of the great world archives and libraries who have linked their databases to the search. :-)
Thanks again for all you do. Best of luck in your own searches and discoveries!
Loving the many resources our other human cousins have posted for us,

Wow, that's all information! Thanks for the research. I've also discovered more information at www.geni.com about the Chief Seattle/Chief Sealth family. Some are buried with the last name Sealth. Chief Seattle himself was buried under his Christian name, Noah.
I know 3 direct descendants of the Chief alive now living in Seattle. One is Duwamish Tribal Chair, Cecile Hanson. Another is the head of Duwamish River Cleanup Coalition, James Rassmussun (sp?). A princess Angeline descendant at www.duwamishtribe.org is named Mary Ann. There is a James and Jim Seattle listed as descendants from Sealth. With the information you've given me I can probably see if this "Jim Seattle" born on the West Coast is part of the Duwamish tribe that got scattered when the white people drove them off with guns in the 1800's, even after they had become friends and literally kept them from starving to death.
As a white person born and raised near the Duwamish River, this really bothers me. I discovered on www.geni.com I have the most distant connection as a relative by marriage of Chief Seattle through Princess Angeline.
Thanks for your very useful research!

Thank you so very much for photographing Jenny Batchelor's grave. The added obituary confirms she belongs (as a blood relation) on my tree. Without your kind help, I would never have been able to confirm this was my Jenny as I am actually researching from Australia.
Thank you once again for your kindness,
