We both enjoy the hobby of genealogy, and value the information that can often be gleaned from grave markers. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO MAKE USE OF ANY PHOTOS WE'VE POSTED TO ENHANCE YOUR FAMILY TREE. Once we're retired (in a few more years), we plan to become more active as photo volunteers to be able to contribute more.

FYI: We are working towards photographing all of the approximately 2900 grave markers at the Veteran's Cemetery in Esquimalt - Sections AA, BB, D, E, F & OFFICE have been completed - Section CC is in progress. The rest to follow. If you'd like a photo not yet uploaded (or a retake on any existing photo), please post a photo request, and we will get it at the first opportunity.

Lorinda Gray Memorial
The memorial has been transferred. I can understand you not finding this cemetery as it is tucked in behind the trees. Read the note I posted on the cemetery photos. I did also post a photo of the gate address, but as yet it does not appear.

RE: Lorinda (Pluim) Gray
Great! I have done the updates. Would you like me to transfer the memorial?

Lorinda (Pluim) Gray
Dear Betty & Dan,
We have photographed the whole of Nashville Cemetery and came across the name Pluim. Since there were only three grave memorials posted when we started, and two of them being Pluim, I though you might be interested in this one. Lorna's Memorial # is 149982710.

Willman families from British Columbia
Hey I found some of my distant relatives that were born in Norway and moved to British Columbia, Canada, and I was wondering if you lookup obituaries too?

RE: Edwin Nelson Coles - buried at Ross Bay Cemetery
Hello Betty & Dan, Thank you so much for the photo of Edward's headstone for our "Honor 100" project. Yes, you are correct. His name is Edward and not Edwin. I see you have put in a correction. Thank you. We are also looking for the soldiers photos. If I locate one of Edward, I will post it to the Site. Thanks again! Blessings

Thank you so much for photographing the plot, even without any stone. Much appreciated.

You are so quick, posting the photo within hours of the request!

Many thanks to you both for the photo of Maj Thomas Alexander Cochrane's grave. Without this photo I would not have been able to research the last 30 years of his life. I have uploaded two photos one taken in WW1 and the other WW2. It may interest you to know what he looked like.

Once again, many thanks. Sheila
