I live in Alberta Canada, just 20 minutes from the Montana border. I moved here 5 years ago from California and we have 5 children. I like to horseback ride, shoot gophers in the spring, enjoy a little running, and taking pictures. We have a PO Box in Babb, Montana so I am a little familiar with this area. In fact, I really love Montana!|

Thank you Marilee for understanding, and sharing, my passion.
When I started on this quest the Lethbridge Genealogical Society gave me some photography tips and I am following their edicts/suggestions as closely as possible.

PS - If you let me know which photos are of concern on any memorials you created, or manage, I would be more than happy to delete them.

Hello Marilee and thank you for bringing your concern to my attention.
I have been adding additional photos to memorials, with the creator/manager's approval. If the existing photo is a close up I add a photo of the area/family plot/complete headstone as they are important to family members. In some instances people have requested additional photos if the existing one has the cameraman's shadow or reflection. Many people need/want a "pristine" photo for their family reunion or family tree. I don't know if any of the memorials/photos you are concerned about fall into these categories but thought I should provide a reasonably full explanation of what I have been doing and why.
I find close ups are extremely important to genealogists but family members often want to see much, much more if they are unable to visit the grave in person.
Thank you for everything you are doing to preserve the memory of those that have gone before.

Hi Marilou (Marilee). You're very welcome. I have done about 1700 entries so far for Oakridge and probably have another 2500 more to go, at least.
I have my own plot at Oakridge. It's a beautiful place and I often just go there when I get in the frame of mind that I just want to think. Something like going to a quiet beach to be in a serene surrounding.
Please write anytime....Rodney
You are welcome. There was a beautiful ceremony this morning at the cemetery.
Friday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. hundreds of volunteers arrived at the cemetery and placed flags on each grave site. It is really pretty to look over the cemetery and view all the flags.

Thank you for your help! I am mostly following the Kearl family name and haven't reached the point of going down the Lowe branch. I may in the future make it to that point but it's probably a ways off.
Thank you again! Take care!
