E. Pubigee
His name was Ervan Andrew Pubigee and he lived in a place called Washakie, UT. He is buried in the Washakie Cemetery. He was drafted into WWII and he might have been about 17 yrs. old. He went to the Pacific area. He talked very little about his experiences while there. But we would like to know more.

The other Pubigee might be a relative.

Hi Penny, I updated the information that you gave me for Randy. I am wondering if you would like me to transfer his memorial to you. I am not related to him directly but my great - neice and great- nephew are his grandchildren. Their father is Addam (Randy ' s son). I'd be glad to transfer it to you. :-)

Thank you for your reply, Penny, sorry to hear of your storms and computer problems.

I am replying via the 'grave' site as I don't have a direct email address for you : mine is rexwatson@ntlworld.com, use that if you like.

I was interested to hear that you descend from Joseph and Alice ECKERSLEY. I don't know how much you know, I have quite a lot. For one thing I have just had published in the Manchester and Lancs FHS the story of my Mormon relatives : I can send you a copy if you give me your email address.

Secondly, I published a couple of years ago a booklet about the Mormons in Middleton (near Manchester), Joseph ECKERSLEY and George HULME feature prominently. It is lodged with the Church History Library, and the Family History Library in Salt Lake. If you give me your postal address I'll send one. I used Joseph's journal as one major source.

On the ancestry of the HULMEs I have tried to take them back myself (that is, not using all the online material). I have George-Philip-Thomas, but not certain further. Can discuss in detail if need be.

I will leave you to digest all this !

Regards, Rex

Hi Penny,

Wow... thank you so much. I will be sure to take very good care of these memorials. They are such good and amazing individuals. What a privilege it is to do this work. I really enjoy it.

I live in the Logan, Utah area, is this where you are also? I hope you don't mind my asking.

Mary
