Bio and Links
Bio Photo 8/18/2014: I think I need to take a break from this site. For any of us who have been on this site for a while, I am sure you have noticed the same things that are causing my frustrations. Too much pettiness, too many people looking to have the most memorials and too many pop-up advertisements. Sad really as this seemed like such a great idea when I first signed on. The biggest pet peeve of all is disrespect. Keep in mind that you can attract more bees with honey than you can with vinegar...before you send me a nasty note.

I just read your bio where you are frustrated and need a break. You are right about the picky people.I had one get so angry at me that I had put up a memorial that she harassed me to high heaven.

This is such good documentation for future generations who would never find this info on their own. Take a break, get refreshed, and come back.

I feel your pain.

Thank you
For the transfer of my ancestor in Old City Line Cemetery.

Sorry to read that you're on break, but understand the need for it. Thanks for your many photos, especially those of the CSA markers in the Old City Cemetery. They are excellent and helpful to family researchers everywhere.
Kind regards,

RE: Lowell Hudson
I have made the connection to parents and sent edit with parents links for John Holland Hudson. I am related to Hudson's in that area but can't find a connection to these Hudson's.

RE: Joseph Creasey
Thanks for much, Darrell, for offering to put your picture on the page I made for Joseph Albert Creasey. (I have many Spring Hill pictures that are too large to post.) I should have looked for another listing for him before I posted. Probably, his Find A Grave listing should by spelled "Creasy." He was a sister of Mary Jane Creasey Hall, my great-grandmother. Her name was usually spelled "Creasey." Their sister Minnie Drewry is also buried in Spring Hill.

RE: Lowell Hudson
I sent a request to Find a Grave to combine the two cemeteries links together to prevent mistakes and duplications.

Are you going to be creating the memorials for his parents or did you want me to do so.

Wm P Grant, Old City Cemetery
Darrell - Just a "Thank You" for this memorial you added only 10 days ago. He's a cousin, and others had him confused with another Wm Grant d. 1863, buried in Alexandria (from US Army). You've brought him home.

Know nothing about him. Suggest you post question on LOUISIANA IN THE CIVIL WAR MESSAGE BOARD. Someone there may help you.
