My ancestry interests on my Dad's family are Germans: Bonorden and Knipling; on my Mom's family are Edwards and Vinson. My husbands family are Jentsch's, Kneuppers, Scheefs and Ruetters (all German families).|
One of my goals is to 'connect' all the 'residents' of the Gause and surrounding cemeteries to their families buried there and elsewhere. I appreciate all the help I get from other FAG members with the connections and corrections, thank you!
Currently working on cemeteries in Milam, Burleson and Robertson Counties.
** I believe that those that have gone on, deserve to be known. This isn't about 'me' but about 'them'. All pictures are given freely to anyone to use but photo credit would be polite and greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I live in Southeastern Milam County near Gause, TX. I am happy to help with any cemetery locations near me.
**If you send me an email via the edit other and you don't hear from me then please use firstname.lastname@example.org . I answer! If I don't, it means I didn't get it! Thanks ***
**I have no problem transferring pages outside the FAG guidelines but you MUST have an email address. I understand 'disabling' your messages on FAG but please send me a private message. ***
You was here but now You've gone,
You've left your name to carry on,
Written in stone or just pages in time;
There is no real death until you are forgotten,
So let those that read this remember you often.
***Forget You Not******
I am with you still - I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the sweet uplifting rush,
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone -
I am with you still in each new dawn.

All is good, but from 1903 are difrerent things. The Cementerio de la Chacarita is property of the government of Buenos Aires City, and the Cementerio Británico is property of the Corporación del Cementerio Britanico.
The Cementerio Británico has its own management.
You can made what you want, but my comment is exactly for your best information.

You request a photo of a grave in the British Cemetery in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for a memorial included in the Cementerio de la Chacarita. It's wrong, because you must include this memorial in the Cementerio Británico, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
If not I'm shure that nobody can help you.
You made transfer this memorial to the correct cemetery.

Holly, you should have received notification that Charles and Mary Scheef now belong to you.
A little history of how/why I established these memorials. My dad grew up just north of Saint Paul Church/Cemetery in McLennan County. There are several people in that area that are related to my family. I kept looking at the families my uncles and aunts and cousins married and developed an attraction to some of the small cemeteries. I went down the findagrave list for St Paul Cemetery and tried to link families together. Looking at census info I learned that all family members were not in Find A Grave so I started adding. I have done this with about 6 cemeteries in Falls and McLennan Counties and it has been a fun project. I may have made a few errors along the way and hopefully family members will see these memorials and offer corrections. I have had family that I could not determine where they were buried then run across them in Find A Grave. So I am just trying to help someone locate some of their relatives.
This is probably more than you ever wanted to know.

Holly, I just received notification from find-a-grave that you have sponsored these two memorials. To me that means these two are special to you.
Would you like to be the caretaker of these memorials? If you would, jut send me a message and provide your findagrave member/contributor number and I can make them yours..
And thank you for sponsoring them. The clutter-free memorials look very good.

Hey, I tried to reply to you directly but your email bounced(?)
My question was, do you know where her mother Francis Turner is located?

Before I got you addition to the Lewis memorial.I had already given the memorial over to family.
|Melvin Y. Lewis||Lewis Family|
I edited my great great grandfather's information, Alex Lewis. He was not born in Alabama as indicated, he was born Edgecombe County, North Carolina and migrated to Milam County along with different set of Lewis's (My other set of Lewis Family, I come both sides of the Lewis's) and his wife Amanda Drones.
Also, the bio, is incorrect. I see you insert information from my cousin, his son James Lewis (my great grandfather's brother) who signed the death certificate. My great grandfather is Fletcher Lewis (Alex and Amanda's oldest child) and the father to my grandfather, Buster Lewis who married Flonnie Lewis (different set of Lewis).
Please make the changes. My entire family over 100 Lewis on both sides from all over the country was just in Hearne, Texas for the Lewis Old Fashion Dinner and I discussed a lot of misinformation being applied to these find a graves. There is discussion to record the family on find a grave to ensure information is correct and not assumed based on incorrect information supplied by many of the white recorders who were basically recording what they wanted at the time. Likewise, I am in North Carolina and have gone to edgecombe county and have our document for both side of the Lewis Family.
