Born, raised and lived in Illinois until I moved to South Carolina in 2009. Genealogy has been a part time hit and miss thing for quite a while.
I found this Find-a-grave site when I did the usual monthly Internet search for the family names and saw many monument pics of the family in Southern Illinois. I have always enjoyed walking cemeteries, and now I carry a camera for the opportunities that always present themselves.
The Gwinn name is somewhat confusing. But I console myself with this thought: It is better to have one family and 27 spellings of the name than to have one name and 27 different families.
If I have created a listing that interests you, by all means, let me transfer it to you. Listings are more meaningful when you have an attachment to them.
Here in SC, I work as a machine repairman in a Starbucks Coffee Roasting plant, but my main desire is the Apostolic ministry. My wife and I attend the Apostolic Lighthouse here in Aiken, SC., and the daughter-work, Signs of Life Deaf Ministry and the Cayce UPC in West Columbia.
To serve my Jesus and to serve my brothers and sisters is the desire of my heart.
Let me know of anyway I may be a help to you.
John A. Gwinn
Aiken, South Carolina

Supposedly the ones that are not responded to within 30 days are done automatically by the admins . . . at least in theory that seems to be how it will work. I can't tell from mine as so far they have all seemed to be done within 30 days. I have a few now that I'm watching. Ones I requested, that is. I'll leave m memorial until I see the other one is changed. Put it in my watch folder. Thanks for the heads up.

So did you ask the other manager to fix the name? I will delete my memorial since there is a photo on the original. But no wonder I didn't notice the other memorial.

Sorry, should have said William was born in Munfordville, not Munford, Ky.
