Charles and Ruth Waterhouse and Ruth's family
Hey thank you for the nice pictures of Charles and Ruth Waterhouse and Ruth's family. Charles Dewey Waterhouse was my great grand uncle, and Ruth Waterhouse had two parents that were both born in Poland (which was taken over by Russia). My great grandfather was also born in Poland too, I wonder if I'm related to Ruth too.

Pettet
Thank you Terry for the photo of the headstone. I was at that cemetery and could not locate it. Could you sort of give me directions so the next time I go there, I may find it. I am interested in any Pettit headstones in that cemetery. I have found 4 others - Samuel Petitd. 1826, Margaret Pettet d.1793, Gideon Petit, and Martha Petit, two of their children. Still looking for others. Especially John Pettet who died about 1757-1758. He would be Samuel's father. But I'm not sure if he is actually buried there. Some people assume someone is buried in a particular cemetery when they aren't. So if you are ever wandering about in that cemetery and find another Petit/Pettit/Pettet, please let me know.

Thank you so much for finding my wife's 4th great grandmother. We live in Florida now and don't get back to Connecticut very often.

Thanks for the photo. However James on his Naturalazation papers gave his birthplace as Tipperary. Carrickbeg lies on the border of the counties of Tipperary & Waterford.
His wife Mary was born in Litchfield of John McNeil & Polly Catlin.
James & Mary had another son John who went to NH with Mary & her 2nd husband.

Thanks again.
