Thanks for your kindness in taking and uploading photos for the Reeds. I appreciate it very much. I've never seen markers quite like them before, seems like someone was experimenting with lettering and technique. Thanks again!

WOW! Then Greetings Cuz.
Hezekiah is my 5th great uncle. I stem from his brother, Simeon who is my 4th great grandfather.
A pleasure to make your acquaintance. Simeon moved to New York State - first at Maryland in Oneida County, then moved to western NYS, settle and died at North Java,Wyoming County NY. He's buried there at the North Java Pioneer Cemetery along with his wife Anna, and his son Joseph. His first son Joined the Church of LDS and moved out there with his son during their 1848 migration toward Utah. The rest of my grandfathers and my own father were born and raised in Wyoming County. Dad (Norman) moved east to Syracuse NY, where he raised my brother and me, and I met my favorite person in college after serving during the Vietnam fiasco, then we moved to Newburgh and finally Sullivan County in the Catskill Mountains. Been here ever since, but getting older now, and thinking about moving to western NC. to get away from the drastic winters here. People sure do move around; even back and forth. Dont't they. Regards, and Thankyou, Cuz.

Thankyou very much for obtaining the photo of Hesekiah's monument. I'm also so glad that his service is recognized at his headstone too. I will sponsor his findagrave site to take your deed forward.//Bert Catlin

Thanks for your lightening speed response to my requests.
It would be wonderful if more Find A Grave volunteers shared your photographic talent. Your photographs are outstanding and very much appreciated.

They certainly did a great job on the stones! It's nice to know they take care of their cemetery!
