My name is Ruth (Wilson) Lowell. I was born in Inkerman,(now Baker) WV. My parents were the late Howard and Daisye (Combs) Wilson.

I have been interested in Genealogy since May of 1980. I became very interested when a man knocked on my door one day and asked if he could go over and talk to my dad. That they had told him up at Smith's store that if anyone knew anything about the older people around here my dad would.

The man had a large blue book with Book Of Remembrance written on it. I asked him where he got it and he gave the information so I could order one. It had pages just perfect for recording your family genealogy.

I knew when my mother and dad was gone I would need it. My main list of surnames are Wilson, Coby, Combs, Baker, Hines, Saville, Wilkins, Lowell, Toler, Litton, Parker, Shanholtzer, Teets, Hunter, See and Miller.

Please do not add death certificates in the photos section as they are generally easy to find, take up limited photo space and may disclose more information than family members are comfortable releasing with the general public.
