Do you have any information on the her father Rudy? I see they are buried in same cemetery, I put in a request to link. I think Rudy is the biological brother of Roy Michael Fisher who was adopted abt 1905 by my Great Grand Uncle and wife Henry and Emma Kuck of Redwood Falls. Have letters, from a Rud Fisher of Northcote,Kittson, Minnesota dated 1919 to my relatives regarding his brother's accidental death in a motorcycle accident....Do you know of Rudy and his siblings being raised briefly by grandparents and then put up for adoption? If any of this is familiar and you know of any gaps or people trying to piece these children together I may be of some help. I have copies of Roy's obits and newspaper articles relating his death. Thanks PC

Osnabrock
Last time I was in Osnabrock was the spring of 1998. My grandfather's old post office was gone replaced by the current one. The home my father was born in was still standing to the east of the post office. The Postmaster was the wife of a man whose grandfather had been a paulbearer at my grandpa's funeral. She introduced me to an elderly man in the cafe who had attended school with my father's older siblings. Down at the end of the street to the east was another woman, in her 80s. She was kind of the local historian. Had all sorts of news clippings from the now defunct Osnabrock papers and a few from Langdon. This included obits of my grandparents. She was by then 1 or 2 people alive who knew my grandma. She told me a story of the local ladies, of Scandinavian immigration or ancestry. They were gossiping about my grandma, an immigrant from England, in German. Well thanks to her own step-mom she understood German and replied telling those ladies off!

In Nov 1925 my father and an older brother were struck by a car while on their tobaggan. Grandma, who was pregnant, ran out, tripped on the wooden sidewalk falling onto her belly. She misscarried shortly thereafter and perrished herself a day or so later.

Hi - just read your note. I hadn't taken any other photos at Rush Lake and I checked 2 other sources (http://geneofun.on.ca/cems/sk/SKEXS2270?PHPSESSID=de9afe1d2091408479bf7f57d5be2a45 ) and http://sk.canadagenweb.org/cemetery/RushLake/ but don't see your relative.

My memory of the cemetery is there are a very small number of graves there.

I'm heading out for a bit, but when I am back, I will check an very large book that I have on the Excelsior rural municipality. This book was written about the history of the area and its homesteading families. I will look for any information about your relative.

You took three pictures really trying to help read the stone. It is really hard to read. Either way thank you for doing such a nice job with the pictures!

I see the name is at the top of the stone. I see where it could be Earl, but I wonder if it could be Carl?
