RE: Redundant Memorials
HI Peter:
I did check and yes, the Adamson one is redundant and I removed one of them. As far as the same one being up at the Kinross Cemetery listing that was added in 2014 whereas mine was added in 2011 so I think I would contact the person who put it up in 2014. The one major problem with Find A Grave is that it is not able to see similarly named cemeteries so that duplicates are not made. They should have a way to see if there is a Kinross Parish Cemetery and someone tries to make a new cemetery called Kinross Cemetery that it does not create a stop of some sort.

I will review this when I have a moment which will not be for a month because I am getting ready to go to Asia.

I had no idea where my uncle Second Lieutenant Patrick A Anderson was buried. I came across this by chance. Thanks for putting it on.

Just helping people out. BTW, I seem to have failed at making a proper sentence in my last message. It's good you understood what I was trying to say.

This memorial page seems to be the same as Clive Franklyn Collett (#59790028). Perhaps you could for a merger of the two?

RE: Alexander MacInnes

Thanks for your reply. Reason for my query was because Margaret Wallace's spouse was given on death as aged 64 (her son) and not 87 per headstone.

Alexander MacInnes
Birth: unknown
Death: Feb. 27, 1958
Aged 64 years >>> need changing to 87

Alexander d. 1965 aged 64 & John d. 1985 aged 70 on same headstone, are probably sons of the above.

Alexander snr. father almost certainly Neil McInnes bap 1814 Ulva, Kilninian parish Mull, d. 1879 Carrington. Neil's wife Helen McArthur was born/bap 1832 Tiree, and they married 1854 Carrington.

Neil and brothers Charles & Hector were in Carrington for the 1841 Census

I'd appreciate the use of the Mac/McInnes headstoe pic(s) for my own website (which is not open to the Internet)

I will still link to Find A Grave as well
