Bio Photo ***** IF REQUESTING A TRANSFER OR A PERSONAL CHANGE REQUEST, PLEASE SEND ME AN EMAIL TO THE ADDRESS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS BIO TO ALERT ME and THEN DO THE NORMAL TRANSFER REQUEST I get about 100 Change requests a week, most of them bulk information from archival volunteers and deal with them in chunks when I have time... sometimes same day, sometimes 2 months from now. Otherwise it may be quite awhile before I see your Request*****

I am an amateur genealogist tracing my family and have made wonderful use and am extremely grateful to the various members here at Find a grave and other genealogist sites. I live outside Albuquerque, NM and I am willing to try to take photos and/or find plots for families in the Bernalillo and Sandoval counties. I am also willing to work on interesting projects such as boothill cemeteries in Northern/Northwest New Mexico provided I have some information to begin with.

I am researching/finding my family: Coopers, Omholts, Orrs, Dunkles, Johnsons of Algona Iowa, Grants of Silver Lake, Wisconsin and their spouses families and descendants. As I find family in rural cemeteries, I may add the whole cemetery records. If I have a relative of yours and it is not in my virtual family cemeteries, feel free to request a transfer via the suggest changes page. Please let me know how you are related to that person.

***NOTE*** I am not related to anyone buried in New Mexico, feel free to request a transfer but tell me how you are related. If you are requesting a transfer from Pennsylvania... I've done a fair amount of transcription and family in-fill even though I'm not related unless you trace back to Orr, Winnett, Patterson, Douglass or Dunkle. Feel free to request a transfer... the worst that happens is I say Hi cousin, let's talk. IN ANY OTHER STATE, I am probably related to the individual somehow in my tree... I will almost always defer to direct descendants but please understand I have grown old already with family collectors that do nothing with a memorial. Otherwise I believe if you are an active 'Graver', I'd rather a memorial be in good hands than a strangers... but don't be surprised if I look at how 'active' you are... I just want memorials to be completed to the best of the owners ability.

I started here not only to give a permanent record to my kin but also to network for photos and information with my cousins... quid pro quo I hope. ***End Soap Box

RE: Sugden/Dunkle Correction
I've walked the Cemetery in Sterling, NE as I have several relatives there including the Sugden's - they never lived in IA - I've had people contact me about the IA postings. I believe they are already listed in the correct cemetery with photos. You can't know about duplicates when someone posts in a wrong cemetery, esp. if it is out of state.

RE: Sewickley
I'm sorry! I'm not sure where we are at this point. I am a Cemetery board member at the Sewickley Union Cemetery, West Newton address, Sewickley Twp. I have been working with Kathi Lynn King and Darrel Trout to correct the confusion between this cemetery and the Sewickley Cemetery near the covered bridge, and the duplicates that have resulted. I seem to remember something to this end, but not sure where we stand with you at this point. There were as many as 75+ duplicates and moves. There are a few duplicates left and perhaps one to move from Sewickley Union. The other cemetery also still has some essues. Let me know.

RE: John S and Julie Ann (Rhodes) Shupe
Yes, that is what I have. I have changed some of my information to reflect what is recorded on their memorial name (Juliann). I have another Julia Ann Rhodes b. abt 1834 with different parents? I am a Rhodes desendant, so if you see something incorrect let me know so I can correct my files

duplicate memorials

There are 57 duplicate memorials in the Sewickley Union Cemetery. I am trying to reduce this number. So if you get a request to delete a memorial, you know why. If this will not work let me know so I can add it to the, to be merged list, for Find A Grave to fix

Thank you

Transfer Request of Nicholas & Margaret Spangler
Hello/ I'd like to request the memorial transfers of Nicholas Spangler (#93140037) & his wife Margaret (#93140038). They're ancestors of mine, I'm also researching the Spangler family tree and would be nice to have their memorials so I can add new info as I get it. Your help would be much appreciated. Have a good day.

gagliardi #86175385
Dear Johnathon, I am inquiring about the grave # above with only the name gagliardi, it is located in west newton cemetary west moreland county, pennsylvania. i received a photo from my aunt some time ago, and she stated this monument was my great grandfathers. i do have the writing on it; it reads as follows: la page, delban di giovanni gagliardi fu giuseppee di rosaenato inaurand vl30 september 30, 1864 morto 26 maggio vanmeter pa sua gagliardi. my research tells me it reads; peace for the soul of giovanni gagliardi of the deceased giuseppee and of rosa born in aurano on september 30, 1864, died on may 26, 1899 in van meter, pa.xxxwife and children xxxeternal peace. pray for his soul.I did find in 1900 census my great grandmother still living there, as widowed. however, no other records have ever been found about him or his death. i did contact west newton cemetary to see who payed for such a large stone but they did not know. any information you may be able to give me would be greatly appreciated, and if we could link this to my great grandfather i have a photo of tombstone and a wonderful portrait of him also. in great appreciation. terrimarie galiardi martsolf
